Impeccable service from the moment we arrived. Although the staff didn’t speak English, they had instructions and information to get us through check in, onsen etiquette, and our meals. The place looked renovated and our room was comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. The onsen was very nice. I heard about the healing properties of the water and never believed it before, so I was pretty amazed how painless my joints felt and my skin felt smooth too. The food was an assortment of delicious and fresh seasonal vegetables, beef, and fish. Cleanliness was obviously very important with hand sanitizer stations everywhere. It was raining, so we could not see Mt. Fuji, we will have to try again.

We enjoyed our stay at the authentic Japanese ryokan. We slept on the floor on mats, ate fantastic dinners served in our room, with us seated on the floor, and enjoyed breakfast in the dining room. The staff were so professional and courteous. That was the best part, along with the onsen bath. Heaven!

The lake view right infront of my room so calm and beautiful, just like looking at a postcard everyday. We signed up the breakfast and dinner package. Very pleased with the dinner served everyday. They ensure no repetition of food and food served are very fresh and tasty.

We had such a lovely stay at this traditional ryokan. Yes, the property is a little dated, but it adds an old-world charm to such an accommodation. The service from the front desk to the lady who served us dinner in the room is impeccable. Its roof top has magnificent view of Lake Kawaguchiko and Mount Fuji. Not to mention it's about 10 minutes (or less) drive from Kawaguchiko Station, or about 20 minutes bus ride from the said station. The green line service of Fujikyu Omnibus bus stops right in front of the hotel at stop 26. It stops opposite the hotel on the return route. So, if you miss the last bus (4.30pm JST) of the said bus service, taking a taxi won't hurt the pocket. It costs us about 1270yen from Kawaguchiko Station on a generally traffic-less afternoon. The hotel also provides free shuttle service to Kawaguchiko Station which starts at 8am and ends at 11am, every other 30 minutes. We had a half-board (includes breakfast and dinner) stay. The meals suit our tastebuds and we have no complain. We can feel the effort put into preparing the dishes. We also tried both the public baths and thoroughly enjoyed the facility. We also walked from the hotel to Yagisaki Park and Kawaguchiko Muse Museum. This area is so lovely with its lavender garden (and many other flowers) and a sit-down cafe for you to enjoy the vicinity. A live music performer, Izanagi, was performing at the park too. All in all, love our stay!

Affordable and still able to have a wonderful view of mount Fuji. Would highly recommend staying here for the amazing facilities and amazing service! Very friendly and accommodating, the staff would do anything to make you happy. Food provided for dinner was one of the best aspects of staying here so I'd definately recommend buying the full board instead of finding a place to eat around. Thank you for your service, as it was a memorable stay!
