“No one was there to meet us, doors were locked and no one answered the phone. We had to find alternative sleeping arrangements LAST MINUTE!!!”

“Hotel added a hidden fee of 7.5 euro at the time of checkout calling it a "registration fee". This was nowhere mentioned at the time of booking the hotel. They could not even explain what this is about as I did not register for any other additional service. Very bad experience and leaves a bad mark on the customer with such hidden charges!!”

“The hotel didn’t quite meet our expectations. We didn’t get off to the best start as there was a storm so there was a power cut, which we know couldn’t be helped. There was no running water for the first evening which meant we couldn’t wash/shower before dinner, there was then still no hot water the next morning. With all the problems there was only one staff member trying to deal with it all covering the reception, bar, spa and restaurant. We left early on our last morning and there was no hot……

“The apartment itself is great —clean, beautifully furnished, and ideally located right by the Slovenian border for further exploring. Plus, the price is very fair and the complimentary breakfast treat basket was a wonderful energy boost in the morning! However, the check-in process was a bit of a thriller. At 3pm (official check in time) I still hadn’t received any check-in details. Communication through the Hotels.com app failed, so I had to call the host directly. That’s when I found out about……

“Zimmer war sauber, das Bett war auch gut für mich leider ein bisschen zu weich, aber die Wände waren leider dreckig, Personal sehr nett und freundlich, Frühstück war sehr gut und große Auswahl das Abendessen war nicht schlecht weil immer das gleiche, Therme ist sauber dem Alter entsprechend leider keine massage Düsen an den Rändern, der außen Bereich ist auch sauber aber in der Umgebung verfallene Häuser werden leider nicht in Stand gehalten obwohl sie zur Geschichte des Ortes gehören ”
