Beach and pool are often crowded

The greatest strength about this hotel is its friendly and generally helpful staff. The beach and pool are often crowded and it's not easy to get empty deck chairs. Water in the pool smells strongly of sunblock lotion and was almost cloudy on the days when I used it. Didn't managed to get a twin bed room as requested. The roll in bed that I used was so uncomfortable. Rooms are rather small, with little table space for food and stuff. Shampoo and body wash are kept in ceramic bottles which are extremely difficult to squirt. They treated you like royals when you checked in but rather shabbily when you checked out.

Absolutely fantastic boutique hotel close to beach

Starting from the entrance, the drive to the welcome area takes you through a short journey in the tropical rain forest. The peace and calm ...oh! The staff are all smiles and soothing..attitude is so welcoming. The hotel surroundings, so natural and beautiful.. Kudos to the staff and management. Best hotel so far, and I have travelled a bit.

Relaxing Spot

Overall enjoyed the environment felt like a get away spot away from the city area. Close to Fisherman's Village easy access to food and shopping along the beach. Would come again when visiting Koh Samui

Unbelievable

Location location location!! Great beach great pool great staff great hotel!! Bophut beach is a more calm and relaxed area but is y far the nicest and cleanest area of koh Samui. Can't wait to go back!! Must rent a Scooter and travel the island

Great Hotel, beach excellent service average

Pros: The management, front staff and reception staff were all helpful and a delight to talk to, they couldn't do enough for us. The breakfasts were great.
Cons: The cleaning staff need to have a check list, how could you clean a room and not leave towels, toilet paper etc.
Location: Location was magnificent, beaches,shopping and amenities, clean and close by. Water sports, go carts and tours all convenient. Dining lots of choice.
We loved everything about the hotel except our room cleaning and house keeping. Two days we had no towels,one night we had no sheet on the bed and we had trouble with the light switch to the bathroom which didn't seem to get fixed. Another evening I ordered ice which never came. On the plus side when we did tell management about the ongoing problems they did change the service and offered us a bottle of wine as compensation.

Hotel überbucht - kein Hotel für verwöhnte Gäste

Am 03.07.15 bei Hotels definitiv gebucht, bezahlt, von Hotels bestätigt. 3 Wochen vor Reiseantritt Mitteilung erhalten, dass gebuchtes Zimmer in der ersten Nacht nicht verfügbar. Nach langem, stressigem Hin und Her, Einigung auf 1 Nacht in tieferer Kategorie (Gardensuite) -mit Rückerstattung Differenz. 4x Bestätigung durch Anantara. Freundlicher Empfang, Zimmer ungenügend sauber. Am nächsten Tag Umzug durch Hotel weiter verzögert. Anstelle vom Umzug, spätestens um 14.00, wurden wir auf 15.30 vertröstet. Niemand hat sich aktiv eingesetzt um den Überbuchungsfehler zu minimieren. Wir mussten insistieren, um das Zimmer, welches noch in der Reinigungsphase steckte (auschecken spätestens bis 12.00 Uhr!!) bis um 14.45 zu beziehen. Liegestühle, mit Sonnenschirm, am Strand, um 11.00 nicht mehr möglich. Die gebuchte Beach Poolsuite war dann geräumig und alles vorhanden. WC-Türe, Teppich vor Bad dringender Reinigungsbedarf. Zimmer-und Poolreinigung jeweils um 13.30, am vorletzten Tag nur Zimmerreinigung, ohne Pool um 16.00 - sorry. Gute Lage des Hotels, schöner Strand, aber viel Lärm durch Jetski + Boote. Qualität Frühstück verbesserungsfähig - Anantara Rasananda, Koh Phangan könnte Vorbild sein. Sehr familienfreundliches Hotel, 4-Stern Charakter, in jeder Hinsicht. Trotzdem: Personal freundlich +hilfsbereit, aber die Organisation.......

Sehr geehrte 627 Ursulae , Vielen Dank für Ihren Aufenthalt bei uns im Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort und für die Zeit, welche Sie sich genommen haben um uns eine Beurteilung zu schreiben. Ich möchte mich an dieser Stelle nochmals für die Uannehmlichkeiten entschuldigen, welche für Sie durch die Űberbuchungssituation entstanden sind. Uns ist ein Fehler unterlaufen und es war uns deswegen auch wichtig, dass wir Sie über die Situation informieren und schnellstens eine Lösung finden, da Űberbuchungen bei uns nicht zur Tagesordnung gehören. Natürlich hätte die ursprünglich gebuchte Suite am nächsten Tag zur versprochenen Zeit zur Verfügung stehen sollen, leider sind wir durch die verspätete Abreise des Vorbewohners in Verzug geraten, auch dafür möchte ich mich aufrichtig entschuldigen. Das von Ihnen erwähnte Verhalten des Poolpersonals ist keinesfall akzeptabel und wurde von uns bereits intern mit allen Verantwortlichen besprochen. Ich bedanke mich für Ihren positiven Kommentar in Bezug auf unseren Discovery Host, Khun Tom, und dass Ihnen unser Strand gut gefallen hat. Wir sind momentan auch dabei, unseren Schwimmbereich am Strand zu vergrössern, so dass motorisierter Wassersport noch mehr auf Distanz gehalten werden kann. Da wir sehr viel Wert auf unser Frühstück legen und normalerweise viel Lob bekommen, nehmen wir uns auch hier Ihr Feeedback sehr zu Herzen. Nochmals vielen Dank für Ihre sehr konstruktive Kritik, die wir dazu nutzen werden, unsere Leistungen hier im Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort weiter zu verbessern und vielleicht ergibt sich ja die Gelegenheit, dass Sie sich selbst davon überzeugen können. Perfekt fra start til slutt!

Dette stedet er rett og slett perfekt. Fantastisk hotellområde rett på stranden i Bo Phut. Området har både strand, jungel-lignende hage, restauranter, spa, paviljonger og treningssenter. De ansatte gjør alltid det lille ekstra. Lekre rom med møblerte balkonger. Hotellet ligger perfekt plassert på stranden i Bo Phut, kun 2 minutter gange fra Fishermans Village. Absolutt å anbefale! Vi kommer garantert tilbake!

Slightly Disappointed

Location: fishermen's village, safari tour
It was my first time travel to Koh Samui together with my husband and friends, we arrived late because the luggage could not received on arrival. I had already send email to the hotel to arrange two adjoining rooms or nearby rooms for us so as to celebrate the birthday of my friend but they couldn't meet my requirement. I couldn't login to hotel 's wifi and asked one of staff to help me .She said it must do by myself , I felt her not helpful and friendly ,may be the time was late at night. Later, I asked another staff again, he helped me to login . The bed inside room was a bit soft, couldn't sleep well and the furniture need to refurbish. The weather was bad on the first two days and we couldn't swim at the pool .

Super hôtel de haut standing. Tout est fait pour que l'on y sente bien. Cependant la structure est vraiment très grande, presque trop grande, nous préférons les structures un peu plus petite et familiale. Le quartier est très agréable le soir pour sortir un peu, mais beaucoup de touriste français.
