horrible check-in experience, outdated room

Pros: nothing
Cons: they need to be extensively trained on "Customer service/orientation"; they need to take a lesson from the more professional chains like Taj, Oberoi
Location: Location was good since it was in the park street; plenty of dining options nearby
Check-in took 15 minutes; since I had booked thru expedia(at the lowest possible rate), so they kept on checking the worst possible room of their hotel; finally the manager asked the executive to give me a room (which as per them was a free upgrade); the other lady staff kept on doing her stuff(while I was standing in the queue waiting); she never bothered to ask me to check in at her counter; there was no bathroom slipper in the room; outdated furniture in the room There was no buffet breakfast included in the tariff; by no means was it a five star hotel experience..

Made to wait for 20 minutes upon arrival. Asked for a room with a view but did not get it.The room a/c cannot be controlled! ! It's freezing cold at any setting. No hot water in the bathroom first 2 out of 3 days stay . bathroom very run down and ancient fittings.Room card key stopped working. Staff not very helpful except one or two . airport cab booked for return about 4 times but told by multiple staff as i settled the bill that i did not ask for the airport drop even at 1750rs charge not free.

The hotel forgot to send transport to the airport so we were stranded at the airport for 90 minutes. The hotel knew that I was traveling with unwell family member. I have all the mail trails. Repeated calls to the hotel went unanswered. Travel desk denied any booking despite having the booking confirmation in my hand. Finally we got a transport and reached the hotel and there also it seemed that they were less bothered. I believe one of the worst hotels if not the worst.

It's a nice hotel and convenient location. Some of things need to be updated. There was no hot water in shower.

This is not a 5 star hotel. More like a two star. Other than the security at the entrance staff was very unfriendly. Too many unneeded stair steps. No hand rails constant knock on the door offering some sort of service. Would not stay there again

Indifferent service from the reservation

Indifferent service at Reservation. Also they give only one key card and there were 3 of us staying in the room. Each time someone had to come from the reception to let the 2 persons without the key card into the room.
