Location is very good. Right on the beach. Unfortunately not a good swimming beach. Hotel is dated and beds not very comfortable. Breakfast was good and staff is excellent. We went to the canoe house for supper and the location was amazing but the food was not and service wasn’t good. Dry fish and ...
The temperature in the room was way too cold because the thermostat was broken, so we were transferred to another room.

The room is big and clean. It is very close to restaurants and grocery store. Very convenient. There is a public free parking lot around if you don't want to pay the hotel's parking. Everything else is good except one night, guests from a room were talking super loud in the midnight. We called the ...

My friend from Kailua-Kona traveled the island with me to join in Waipio ridge horseback riding & Akaka Falls, Botanical Garden, and Hilo sight seeing over 2days. We stayed one night just to relax & feel the resort atmosphere. We received welcome drink while listening to live Hawaiian music, swam ...
The resort is a Beautiful Resort, has clean rooms, and a nice staff.
While the hotel is an older hotel, the large rooms were incredibly clean! The game room and pool amenities made for a great family time. Kids had lots of fun things to do and were entertained and the parents and grandparents got to relax!! Would highly recommend!!

I don’t write reviews (not my job) but in this case I am compelled to share what a fabulous place Pua Kai Lani is. The location is great - an easy walk to a beautiful sandy beach, the miles-long coast trail with it’s amazing lava beaches, historic fish ponds, restaurants, shops and the swimming pool. ...
My husband and I recently honeymooned on the big island and stayed at this hotel. It was our first time visiting Hawaii, and when we visit again, we will absolutely be returning to this hotel. It's small and has a family feel. The hostess, Gigi, is incredibly accommodating and will help you plan ...
Lovely setting with beautiful grounds. Manta restaurant is my favorite on the island. Avoid the Copper Bar, I waited 15 min for service then finally got up and asked the bartender for help. Front desk was super helpful. Good snorkeling and manta rays at night!!

We very much enjoyed our stay in Kolea and this apartment. Great pool and beach access. The area is close to many amazing beaches a short drive away. The apartment itself is lovely. Absolutely any amenity you could want for the beach! The master bedroom is amazing and the kitchen is very well stocked. ...
Hotel is about 20-25 minutes north of the Kona airport. Kingsland is part of the bigger Hilton resort. The hotel is actually about 15 to 20 separate buildings. Room was very clean and fairly modern. Pool area was excellent. Good location away from the city. Overall, I would recommend.
The location is great ! The bed is very comfortable the unit had everything we needed and we love magic sands beach across the street!
