Cute & quirky small hotel in an excellent walking location to many important places. Staff spoke a bit of English and were very helpful. Breakfast was lovely and served in a covered patio area. Since we happened to arrive there on a 3 day religious holiday many things were closed including all the “bazaar” area. But you could still walk around the mosque & museum. This is also the area the Whirling Dervishes are from but again because of the holiday they did not perform.

Rooms were okay, but hard to cool down with no air-conditioning. Showers were terrible. Bad flow and the temperature kept fluctuating. Location is great, but rooms are overpriced for the quality you get.

Due to the physical conditions of the rooms where we host you, we cannot install an air-conditioning system. But we only designed it with ceiling fan and air conditioner. I think you found it insufficient. We started to do a technical study on this subject. We also constantly check the bathroom hot water system. There are no problems at the moment. I think there was a momentary problem. We will continue our controls and studies. I also thank you for drawing our attention to these matters. You have given us a chance to improve our service quality. I hope we can make up for this bad experience by welcoming you and your loved ones back as soon as possible.

Perfect location, perfect service, lovely room
What a lovely setting, and what care the staff at the Hich took to make our experience lovely. we came to the Hich so that we could see the history, the culture, and the foundations of religion here. All of that was literally steps away. But what we did not fully expect was the beauty of this place and the care the the staff took to assure that every need was met. Our room was idyllic, we were so well cared for, and to cap our evening in Konya, warm mllk and fresh baked, warm cookies arrived in our room before bedtime, This place understands hospitality, detail, cleanliness, and service. Thank you to the Hich for making our family holiday so special.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel has a wonderfully positive vibe. The designs and architect of the building reminds you of the old ages but everything looks clean and well maintained. The quietness and the atmosphere, in, and around the property provides an ambiance so you can enjoy your time in Konya. The front desk receptionist and other employees were super nice and polite! Their breakfast was amazing! I highly recommend this hotel.

Very Disappointed
Though the hotel is located right in the heart of Konya and in a very walkable area, we were really disappointed with our stay. The property was not in great condition and our room smelled terribly when we walked in. We think it was the mothballs (?) in our bathroom sink. The door to our room was very hard to close and we woke up in the morning to leaks in our bathroom and bedroom—all of the windows were leaking as well. As a result of the leaks our room lost power (though the rest of the hotel did not) and so we woke up with no lights, wifi, etc. We were so disappointed we left without sitting down to breakfast, which was included in our room price.

Great location for our trip reason but extreemly unpolite staff with personal questions tottaly dissrespectful. No one able to speak english. Room with very low furnitures quality not even being commercial grade. Room door locks residential type and very unsafe. Took more than half an hour just for a shower due to water presure and not enough water available.

Just forget the rest and stay here.
this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in not so much because of the facilities but the excellent location and heart of the staff. The managers were angels and went out of their way to make the experience memorable.I’ve fallen in love with turkey and the people in Hich and Konya is the main reason.

I would not choose another hotel in Konya
This was my 2nd time in Hich. Undoubtedly one of my best experiences. A beautiful old house, converted into a classy & tastefully decorated small hotel with spacious rooms (that get a lot of light and air), Hich gives you a wonderful & peaceful experience in Mevlana city. I have stayed in 3 different hotels in Konya, and Hich BY FAR takes lead. It's located right across from Mevlana Muzesi. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard with very nice light music being played throughout the day. There are many great books in different languages placed in different areas of the hotel. Breakfast is delicious and generous. On top of all this, another factor that multiplies your blissful experience is the welcoming attitude of the staff.  The Manager - Gizem always has a smile on her face and strives to provide you the best experience. She took care of me from the check in to check out, in an unprecedented fashion. I reached 3 hours before check-in time just to see which room I'll be able to get. She immediately offered me check-in since the room was ready. The check-in process was seamless and literally took 2 minutes. She also ensured that all my requests were attended right away. One can see sincerity in her attitude and a real aim to do the best for her guests. Unlike other hotels, she ensures you do not get a commercial type experience. Rather it's very personalized and homely. Hich feels like a second home and I would love to stay there everytime I visit Konya. No brainer!

A very good location to stay when visiting Mevlana, if u get Mevlana view. I had trouble in getting room I paid for. Glad I went there 2 days b4 check-in (while staying in Araf hotel). However, the guy at reception did not offer me what I had paid for. He did not know English so we communicated via Google. He kept on saying the room I booked for wsn't available. I kept on insisting. He refused but another employee Umair helped me out. He called the GM but they still refused. They offered street facing room- I refused. I did not give up & asked 4refund. They refused - I said I m going to cancel with Expedia or dispute with bank. It was then, Mevlana view room suddenly became available & they showed me. GM talked to me & said that actually it was due to language issue (even though it was not as we were very clearly communicating via Google). This just gave a bad taste. While staying there I saw a very commercial attitude esp compared to Araf where I saw reflection of LOVE which is in air due to Mevlana. Service is very slow- perhaps because they are understaffed. The shower stall door was broken and they did not fix it. Other than above, the hotel is good. Great breakfast. Nice old building. Next to Mevlana museum. Nice, white, tastefully decorated rooms. I would like to stay again but hoping the commercial attitude is replaced with that of love and care to match Mevlana's city.

Our short stay felt like an episode of 'Faulty Towers' (For those old enough to remember). The hotel receptionist was also the cook and the waiter. It seemed there were only maximum 4 staff members for the entire hotel. Most of the time we only had two, thus the duel roles. As you can imagine, service suffered as a result. Our room was clean but very basic and a little inconvenient. The blinds have gaps to each side which means you need to be a bit careful when getting changed. There are no ceiling lights so the room is dark, despite the few spot lights and wall lights. The bathroom was spacious, but the toilet bidet didn't turn off and there was a constant noise in the room which I think was coming from the pipes. The key to the door is cumbersome. It is a normal lock but the hotel decided to attach a giant iron key to it, but it's just annoying to carry around. The breakfast was okay when they didn't run out of things like cereal, or when the bread is not stale because its been out from the day before or when you ask for fried egg and get scrambled egg instead. There are lots of books to read, but only if you can read in Turkish. There is a projector in the canteen that has a few plush tables with cushioned wooden seats, whilst the rest of the canteen has metal tables and chairs.

It was close all tourist attraction in Konya. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and very lavish. I love overall comfort of room , we had a best sleep. Close to mescit to pray Namaz on time.

The hotel is five minutes walk from the Mevlana Museum and ten minutes walk to the Mevlana Culture Centre. Abdoz, the Manager, was very happy to provide local advice ... and an extra cup of coffee. Taxis at the airport know the hotel. Getting back to the airport with a taxi from the hotel is easy.

Charming / Cute / Tasteful
My wife loves Persian poetry and mystic and Rumi is her favorite. This hotel is less than 5 minutes walk to Rumi's mausoleum where she visited few times during our 1.5 day visit to Konya. Hotel has young and friendly staff.

It's a great place
This hotel is good for the location in Konya. Great breakfast, nice room. But during the day us a bit noisy due to the outside restaurant.

The hotel was comfortable and very cozy, breakfast was delicious and authentic, room was spacous, however not all staff understood English which was difficult sometimes.

Beautiful hotel in nice location with helpful staf
The hotel is beautiful. The location is great. The staff are very very helpful. The only issue is that some o the rooms (especially on the courtyard) are not well insulated against noise and this can make it impossible to sleep past 8am. Some of the issues the hotel can't control (mosque nearby) and some they can (music in the courtyard). Overall a fantastic hotel but not a good place for sleeping in late.

Beautiful and suggestive Boutique hotel
The staff is really attentive. We were checked in by the Hotel Manger who was very welcoming and gave us a brief introduction to the city and its attractions. The Hotel is beautiful with signature amenities and a very cosy lounge / restaurant area open 24/7 where you can grad a chai and unwind.
