✅ > Location of Grand Borneo Hotel is great because it's next to a mall, 1 Borneo Hypermall.
❎ > Quite far from the airport, around 18 km away.
❎ > No public bus route stops here so you always have to hail a cab or use Grab app.
❎ > Almost all the staff hardly speak English. Pretend they understand but doesn't perform what you asked for. The staff will always say that will ask the Supervisor and call back but never do it. You have to call again after an hour or two to follow up.
❎ > They hardly understand the cancellation protocol or process. Keeps on blaming their partner booking website.
❎ > Wi-fi is not working good in my location and in the pool area. You can't access Facebook or watch youtube, keeps on buffering. The IT guy blamed my phone setting though I can login to their website; it's really their wi-fi connection that is slow and not working. And the IT doesn't know about their internet system. Who would ask you to go at your internet browser and type 10.0.0.1 and it will resolve your login issue?
❎ > I have free breakfast for 2 but can't avail due to early flight but can't exchange it for a lunch/dinner for 1 person. You can't even pay the difference if possible. They are used to saying "No, can't."
