“Standing in the shower, already soaked, only to discover the shower gel dispenser is empty is the kind of inconvenience you’d expect from a lower-rated hotel.”
“I stayed in June with temperatures in the mid 20's. The room was a lot warmer but the air conditioning couldn't be set lower than 24 degrees. When I asked reception how to get it cooler to be able sleep I was told it "can't be set lower as the temperature range is controlled by our office in Budapest."
So I had a week of terrible sleep because of the heat.
Food is not great - passable for breakfast, but poor in the evenings.”
“Unfortunately we were unable to use many of the amenities, and we missed out on the better parts of the included breakfast buffet, possibly because we only went down to the dining room about 9am. The room was very nice, but we felt it was too cool out to sleep with the window open, but it warmed up a bit too much overnight. Overall though, the room was very clean and well furnished and the staff was excellent. The property was very welcoming and it was a beautiful place!”
