Smelly, dirty and very humid

This was a very horrible experience to stay in this hotel. We stayed there fir 2 nights in September 2017. I didn't want to take shower cause the water run directly to you without hiding and it was very dirty. If shower more than 1 minute, my feet were soaked in 2 inches of water. The air conditioning was loud, we turned it to low and after 5 minutes we can feel the humidity and smell of the room. We lived on the non smoking floor, but the smoking smell came from the somewhere from the bathroom. BTW, there was no air circulation in the bathroom. I definitely would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

Nice old hotel easily comute to anywhere in HK.

I've checked in to hotels which are at the center of the city like Kowloon Hotel, Majisttic Hotel etc. but thier rooms are only half the size of regal oriental. If you need to travel to any part of HK, just 3 mins walk to the bus stop infrontt of the hotel. You can find buses to almost anywhere. Lot's of restaurant and Cha Chan Tang near there too.

Old hotel, not conveniently located, bad service.

Pros: Very little to be desired.
Cons: Service. Service quality in this hotel is atrocious.
I booked myself an Executive Club room at this hotel a few hours prior to check-in. This hotel is not centrally located, and has no airport shuttle (as compared to other Regal branded hotels). When I arrived late at night, I went to the 1F check-in counter, which was staffed by a lady (shan't post her name here). She was looking into her computer, and when I nicely asked her if I could check-in, she looked up and rolled her eyes at me before saying "yeah" in a sarcastic tone. I was so disgusted. She took my passport, and saw that I booked an Executive Club room, and proceeded to "shoo" me away by telling me that I cannot check-in there and that I need to go to the 3rd floor. The next morning, I went down to the Executive Club (3F) for breakfast. The selection was paltry and awful. It was really a joke. I had rather they not provided it because the hot/cold selections were lined in a single row (and there were only like 3~4 half-decent options? Ugh! This hotel is old and location is not ideal, so beware!

Nice room at reasonable price!

Pros: Good location, good room.
Cons: There was no coffee capsule in room although a machine was there.
Location: Lots of restaurants around!
A quite last minutes booking but was happy with the reasonable charge. The room was better than expected with a good view and very clean. Will book again if needed.

You get what you pay

Don't be fool by the photo which is all executive room photo ( look much nicer) Standard/deluxe room is old, smelly and crack everywhere. Then I bought up the issue to Terrence @front desk, requested I willing to pay upgrade my room to executive room. He apologized and free upgrade for me. Good location for traditional Hong Kong food Has MTR in the future ,so a lot of construction going on now.

Convenient for food seekers and tourist attraction

The area has lots of local, Thai, Vietnamese, Western food and have a great choices. Prices are reasonable. Other than 15 minutes walk to metro station, there's a variety of buses and minibuses for you to travel to many areas of Kowloon, Hong Kong island and the New Territories. Quite convenient. Two historical parks just walking distance. Worth visiting. Market and Kowloon City mall just ten minutes walk. Hotel shuttle to various areas only provided for guests booking from official site. Other guests can't take hotel shuttle except for airport shuttle. Hotel has several restaurants and café. Some staff from reception and house keeping is helpful and polite while most staff seldom smile nor greet guests. Room size is okay but some rooms don't have proper chair to work on the table, only stool is provided. View is good but there's construction near the seaside. Only two devices are free for wifi use which are too few. Most guests need to use mobile phones &/laptop. Don't like the bathtub as it has half glass panel to block the water. After shower, floor will get wet. Good to provide an universal adapter.

Larger room for Hong Kong

Pros: Only a twenty minute taxi ride to Star Ferry, harbor area.
Cons: Can't th k of anything.
Location: Easy to do sightseeing or shopping by taxi.
I checked many hotels in Kowloon area and any under $100 a night were really small rooms. This is a very nice hotel, good views of the HK harbor. Rooms are good size, clean and well maintained. Location is good for local restaurants, bars and small shops. A large shopping mall is a twenty minute walk.
