Posted Mar 12, 2017
Pros: THE BEACH THE STAFF THE LOCATION THE FOOD
Cons: Yes they should have fresh fruit juice in the breakfast stead of processed juice. the tour at hotel are very expensive , at the beach is half price
Location: the best beach ever is close to everything by boat .
THE HOTEL STAFF IS NICE, THE FOOD IS AMAZING, THE BEACH IS THE BEST, THE WIFI IS VERY GOOD ,THERE IS LONG TAIL BOATS EVERYWHERE SO YOU CAN GO TO ALL THE ISLANDS. WE ARE VERY SAD TO LIEVE . WE FELT IN HOME THERE ,IT WAS A WONDERFUL STAY.Ramash and Natha are amazing staff.

Beautiful hotel on the beach!!!

Posted Mar 7, 2017
This hotel has such a beautiful beach!!! We loved our stay here. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only thing is the bathrooms need some work. The room is very nice and the bathrooms are a little shabby. Some light remodeling or painting might help. The bed was very comfy. We had the breakfast included in our stay and it was delicious!!! If we went back we would definitely get it again. Wonderful place to stay!!

Hotel was really nice !

Posted Feb 28, 2017
I was concerned about booking a hotel on Ko Phi Phi due to the low ratings on most of the hotels. We decided to stay at the Holiday Inn due to having the highest rating on Expedia. The hotel is great it's very quiet, located on the backside of the island away from the main pier. The only downside is if you do want to do a lot of exploring (Bars/Night life) or tours from the main pier it's a $20 water taxi ride one way. If you come back late due to being out at dinner or the bars the water taxi can be very expensive $30-$40 after dark. We did a hike from the holiday inn to the three view points and then down to the main pier which was amazing. Ko Phi Phi has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world with some of the clearest and warmest swimming possible. We ate at a small restaurant right outside of the holiday inn called chili pepper was one of the best meals we had in all of Thailand. Very small and not fancy but the food is made fresh and delicious, bonuses it's extremely cheap. If you're planning on spending time in Ko Phi Phi and Phuket, I would suggest staying at Ko Phi Phi the whole entire time, Phuket is a let down after spending time on the island. The take away from my Thailand trip was spend as much time as you can on Ko Samui and Ko Phi Phi.

Great hotel right on beach!

Posted Jan 15, 2017
Very nice place to stay! Right on the beach. Away from the busy part of Koh Phi Phi. Stayed here with 2 adults and 3 children (10,7,4). Excellent kids club and pool. Good food and good breakfast buffet! Would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel with a wonderful beach

Posted Dec 28, 2016
Hotel is great, far away from city mess and small markets, with one of the best beaches. Once here you don't need to go anywhere else. The hotel has some restaurant options and there are other places to eat nearby, at walking distance along the beach. You can find great snorkeling spots in the beach. Water and sand can't be better. We also hired a tour to Maya Beach in the morning at a very good price. Room has two showers (one inside and one outside) which is very convenient. The only thing that may be improved is the check in procedure... which is a little cumbersome/long.

Quiet and Relaxing

Posted Dec 20, 2016
Pros: Hotel staff especially guest relations as they took are of my custom request and did an amazing job.
This part of the island is very quiet so if are looking for bars and a party scene than this is not the part of the island you want to be on. What I like is that you are only a 20 minute taxi ride from here to get to Tonsai Pier which is where you can find some nightlife. The resort has everything you need and is very quiet and relaxing. My experience with the all of the hotel staff was great, they are very attentive, and quick to respond to any issues. I had an issue with my door late at night and they were able to get it fixed within 15 minutes of me calling them. I had a bungalow suite which was spacious, clean, and in pretty good shape overall. One thing to note is that when you take the ferry from Phuket it does cost extra for you to get to this part of the island which isn't a lot but one thing to note in case you are on a budget. I also did not notice anywhere to exchange money but if you need to than you should exchange prior to arriving here as the rates in Phuket are probably better. Can't wait to come back and visit this resort again.

Great hotel and service!

Posted Nov 25, 2016 on Hotels
This hotel is amazing if you don't mind being secluded. Getting around the island is expensive and so is anything you buy on site (food and drinks) if you are looking for night life it's not for you but if you are looking for a romantic or relaxing getaway this is the place for you.

Nice hotel near beach

Posted Nov 21, 2016
We enjoyed our stay at holiday inn. Staff were helpful and right on beach. Loved the pool. Not a whole lot to do but we really enjoyed going to Phi Phi Leh. Got stir crazy after 3 days so glad we didn't stay longer than that. Overall great experience!

Would never go back

Posted Nov 20, 2016
We had read wonderful reviews and it seemed like the perfect choice for our honeymoon. Absolute fail. They told us we had been upgraded to a honeymoon suite so after staying in an amazing hotel in Krabi the day before we couldn't imagine what a "honeymoon suite" would be!. We talked into our dim TINY room with dinged up furniture, scuffed walls, bugs flying around, odd smell, loud AC and disgusting bathroom so to say we were thrilled is far off. As we threw back the covers on the bed a spider crawled out and there was hair on the bathroom floor. We called to complain and they recommended spraying the room for bugs. So that would have covered 1/458398 issues. They did switch our room to a more updated version but the only thing that was good was the beach view. The paths around the hotel are incomplete so be careful where you stay especially with children or people who may need help with walking as we had to off road to even get to our room. It was a crappy holiday inn from America they threw in the middle of an island. Don't get your hopes up about the buffets for breakfast or dinner- you may be better off just ordering from the restaurant on the beach which did have good pizza- but in case you didn't know- Pizza is not a delicious thai dish, fresh on an island. For the money we spent we expected so much more. Not only would I recommend you not go, but I don't think I could even return to a holiday inn at home.

A bit of a let down!

Posted Nov 13, 2016 on Hotels
Its quite a remote area, two nights was plenty here for us! We had to eat both days in the hotel as there was no where else to go but i suppose that's a 'resort' for you.. It was a nice hotel, we had upgraded to a suite with a view (it cost 4 times what other hotels on our months holiday to thailand cost) and for me, it was our worst room! There was a musty smell when we arrived :( The resort is beautiful and i can see why people go to phi phi holiday inn but 2 nites were enough!
