Would never go back

We had read wonderful reviews and it seemed like the perfect choice for our honeymoon. Absolute fail.They told us we had been upgraded to a honeymoon suite so after staying in an amazing hotel in Krabi the day before we couldn't imagine what a "honeymoon suite" would be!. We talked into our dim TINY room with dinged up furniture, scuffed walls, bugs flying around, odd smell, loud AC and disgusting bathroom so to say we were thrilled is far off. As we threw back the covers on the bed a spider crawled out and there was hair on the bathroom floor. We called to complain and they recommended spraying the room for bugs. So that would have covered 1/458398 issues. They did switch our room to a more updated version but the only thing that was good was the beach view. The paths around the hotel are incomplete so be careful where you stay especially with children or people who may need help with walking as we had to off road to even get to our room. It was a crappy holiday inn from America they threw in the middle of an island. Don't get your hopes up about the buffets for breakfast or dinner- you may be better off just ordering from the restaurant on the beach which did have good pizza- but in case you didn't know- Pizza is not a delicious thai dish, fresh on an island. For the money we spent we expected so much more. Not only would I recommend you not go, but I don't think I could even return to a holiday inn at home.
