Exactly what you would expect
Good place for on a budget, nice clean lodges, slightly outdated but have everything you could need. Great service and were allowed to check in early. Fab location as right on the beach, and restaurant and bars on your doorstep. Would stay here again :)

My boyfriend and I really really loved this hotel. Gorgeous rooms, perfect location with a pool and right on the beach! The staff are super helpful and really nice. Only thing we would say is we didn’t use the towels because they were covered in stains!

Great location, great beach and pool. Room was fine, but bathroom stunk even though it was very clean. All rooms I stayed in had same issue with bathroom smell. Must just be a thing in Thailand. I would stay here again.

Decent enough. Doesn’t really deserve to be called a resort. All well and good for the price, but you’re not getting a steal. You’re getting what you pay for. All that said, good night sleep and the a/c worked great.

There was a terrible smell in the room coming from faulty drainage in the bathroom. We informed the staff but nothing was done. Some of the waiters and especially the cashier were not suitably trained and downright rude. The breakfast is also a joke, they don’t even offer fresh Coffe only cheep instant stuff. Otherwise a great location.

Not quite luxury
This was a nice resort, I guess, but our room must have been on the low end of the range. Our bed was not very comfortable (it sounded like it was covered with paper), the furniture was strange old soft wood. It did not feel luxurious in the least. But, it was on the beach, there was a pool, the food and breakfast was decent. The last night of our stay there was quite a storm and the staff kept the kitchen and restaurant open despite power outages, so that was fun. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

Very quiet if that's what you are looking for
Very quiet resort, their restaurant is closed and the entrance of the resort is a massive building site. I was the only person besides another French group staying at the resort out of how many bungalows they have. I paid a good price for my own bungalow with double bed, use of a clean pool and gorgeous sea view right on the beach. I got what I paid for which was a good price, I didn't care about going out, it was more about chill out before going back to city life, koh lanta is very quiet anyway in low season. It's great if you want something very quiet, to yourself. I ate breakfast and dinner in a cute little restaurant up the road to the left, a really nice massaman curry both nights. The women were lovely. The local shop is a bit of a walk and the resort is a bit off the beaten track which was tough with a big bag, took about 15 mins from where the transfer let me off as I was the furthest down they went. The power went out during one of the days I was there, which I put down to the construction but it was back on again by night. there is barely no one manning the reception desk which was anoying at times

Total Chill out place!
A simple place, maybe 2 star I think. It is now low season, so travel to this place is only by mini bus.The rooms are simple, but have fridge and tv, and good air cond. As it is run by Muslims, they do not serve alcohol, but the Majestic bar next door will provide drinks,--ie cocktails at 100baht. The food was quite good, but over the road and about 300 metres away is a very nice restaurant Cook Kai. There are also other nearby eateries, and a mini mart that sells beers-(some mini marts do not, as they are also Muslim owned) The beach and pool were great, and unlike some resorts, they do not have heaps of rules/regulations, ie one can swim at anytime, don't have to return pool towels ect! Check in was great, a welcome smile and you get your keys, and off to the pool. If you want to Chill out for a few days, this is a great find.

Not fancy but good pool and beach.
The pool by the beach was lovely. We stayed in a bungalow a few rows back the first night and it needed updating. We moved to a beach/pool front bungalow for the next two nights and it was updated. A bit of mold in the bathroom, but probably hard to avoid here. We were there in low season and practically had the place to ourselves. The place next door was super busy for some reason with lots of loud kids in the pool so we felt lucky to stay here instead. Try the mojitos at the majestic bar!
