Great beach. Hotel is quite small but overall exceed our expectations. It’s pricey but worth it. The room is very comfy and big. We arrived at 1.30pm for check in but the room wasnt ready and will be delayed past the check in time so the staff let us wait by the restaurant and enjoy the complimentary food or drink. Great service.

The hotel was terrific. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. The food and drink were very good. Everything was clean and well organized. The daily cleaning of the rooms was very good. Transportation to and from the airport was a real benefit. The excursions they booked for us were first rate. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing property
My daughter and I stayed for 5 nights. This is a beautiful property with staff who were always friendly and helpful. The beach was clean and swimmable, and the swimming pools were just the right temperature. Breakfast each morning was a delight. We’re vegetarians and loved the fresh mango, assorted breads and cheeses, sliced vegetables, fresh juices and cappuccinos. We took a snorkeling trip with the hotel and highly recommend it. They take you to the best spots, and our boat was limited to 10 guests. It’s a little pricier than doing it with an other company, but definitely a better value in the end for what you get. We hope to return to Layana some day.

If you need that weekend gateway to do absolutely nothing, to meditate and connect with yourself, then this resort is perfect for you, and ticks all the boxes, Highly recommend. If you want to be out and about, visiting attractions nearby, koh lanta in general is not the place to be. Its a very quiet town.

Great resort
Layana was a great resort. This was our first stay in Koh Lanta and it did not disappoint. The grounds was great, rooms are spacious and comfortable, and perfect location on the beach. Our family had a great time and we would definitely return.

Great resort. Staff, grounds, room, breakfast, everything was attention to detail. Definitely book the van and boat arrival from the airport. It was a fantastic way to arrive. Would go back. Tours booked With the resort were attention to detail 5 star experiences. Don’t think about long boats across to islands. Way to choppy. Take the motor boats.

Heaven!!!!! its been a week since we came back and we cant wait to go back. By far one of the best places we have stayed in ever. The beachside villa with a private villa host - what can a man ask for? Seriously!! Sunsets at the beach which was not crowded at all. Breakfast on the beach - WOW!!!

There is quite a bit of construction going on outside of the hotel, but that's not the fault of the hotel. Not a huge amount to see on the main road but it's a 10 minute tuk-tuk ride into Salanda & cost 100 baht for 2 people each way. The hotel itself is great, the staff so attentive & friendly. Very clean and everything you would want for a relaxing holiday.

Incredible resort property in Ko Lanta! From all the amenities offered to the welcoming staff onsite, this place truly felt like a five star place. I thought the daily buffet was excellent, along with the pools. The gym facility was also great with lots of machines and free weights. The room itself was spacious, clean and very nicely decorated. I’d definitely return to Layana, especially in the off season ($200 usd nightly). We also used the bikes they had available which were in decent condition.

Beautiful and elegant resort with everything so much in detail. Quite, cozy for relaxed vacation. After a rough speed boat ride from Phuket island we arrived at Layana resort & spa with very warm welcoming, great hospitality! The resort contacted us via email several times to schedule a pick up at pier. It was so on time even after our boat schedule changes. The lobby, the villa, the pool, the beach everything looks so beautiful , relax and tasty. They even have umbrellas, beach tote, and beach flip flops stored in the closet. Good Wi-Fi connection. Breakfast buffet offers good varieties. In particular we love the restaurant and price is so reasonable food is very tasty! The candle light dinner so romantic. The only thing is if the resort can upgrade the toilette? Overall we enjoyed very much during our stay. We will be be back next year!

Adored our experience at this resort. Stayed at the Terrace suite and loved how clean, modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed it was. Loved the fresh fruit bowls each day and looked forward to the treats left at turndown service. Food was fantastic and honestly have been highlight of our Thailand trip, of which we spent 2.5 weeks going everywhere. Hung out by the pool, wandered the pristine and quiet beach, and even did two excursions with Layana. We even went to the spa twice! Overall, we actually found the spa, food, and excursion prices weren't horrifically marked up and honestly well worth the costs. Lastly, I must remark on how fantastic the staff was. Each person who interacted with us was warm, friendly, helpful...yet never intrusive and never once gave off the impression that they were waiting around for a tip. We had arranged airport transfer with Layana and even once at Krabi airport we we're walked by Layana staff to check in counter then security line! Like what! Loved the experience so, so much. Now we are sitting around in this "zoo" of an airport, bracing ourselves to our eventual descent back to real life. Thank you for the great stay Layana!!

Amazing boutique resort! All staff are exceptional. If you want to be treated like a King or Queen and totally get away and relax this is the place to stay. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone. Quality resort with great staff
Immaculate grounds, in a prime location right on the beach. But the top asset here is the staff and there friendly approachable manner along with their professionalism. Breakfast is excellent and the pool or beach side service is very attentive. Price felt a bit high for the first part of our stay in early January for b&b, but is clearly a quality resort.

Layana is amazing. Best place we stayed in Thailand. We stayed in a beautiful garden pavilion room for our honeymoon. The staff at Layana is all very kind and accommodating. All of the amenities are luxurious, clean, and the whole place is tranquil and serene. It’s close to town making it very convenient also. There is just something in the air. You will feel better as soon as you arrive.

Sheer luxury
Perfect holiday. Wonderful staff. Plenty to do. I would definitely recommend the snorkelling trip and the airport transfer by speedboat.

Great hotel for a peaceful relaxing getaway
We paid just over GBP100 a night to stay at the Layana which was great value for money, we had ground floor garden view room which was spacious and clean with a separate bathroom with individual bath and shower well stocked with amenities. We stayed for 3 nights during July so the hotel was fairly quiet - the weather was dry ad sunny so not sure why! The staff were all attentive and after our first meal remembered what we liked to drink and where we like to sit, nice touches. We ordered in some Tiger Prawns for our second night which weren't cheap but were unbelievably good and not much smaller than your average lobster. All in all a great all hotel. Recommend the hotels airport mini van transfer, like a private jet with reclining seats, cold towels and it's own TV & DVD player to help pass the time. Stayed July 2017, travelled as a couple
