The hotel promises a whole lot of things that´s not being delivered, such as there was no pool bar. Well, there probably has been at some point, but when we stayed there the pool bar was filled with buckets of paint and no refreshments. Same goes for the restaurant.
When we first arrived we were met by three women and none of them spoke English. We noticed that the whole area was extremely quiet and only saw one other guest during our stay.
The rooms were not clean, the wifi didn´t work, the bedsheets had something that looked like mascara on them (which the manager said was oil from the washer, as if that made the whole case any better). The shower was old and dirty, the sink was broken, the bathtub looked like it hadn´t been cleaned for ages. There was an extra bed in our room which was dirty and we didn´t even want to keep our luggage on there. The headboard for the bed was so dirty that we decided to put our pillows on the other side of our bed, so that our feet were towards the headboard.
We checked out the pool which was the only positive, and when trying to find someone at the front desk to order some drinks we had to use the reception phone to call TO the reception area for them to appear after waiting for a while. It seemed that every employee had gone into hiding.
It seemed more like a ghost-town-hotel than the "boutique resort" they say they are. I would never stay there again, and I´m surprised that hotels.com still want to have them on their site.
