Excellent staff who were so nice and helpful. Hotel is in a great area - walkable to the beach and loads of good restaurants very close. We were upgraded to a larger suite (as a family of 4) that was at the front of the hotel. It wasn't quiet by any stretch, but that's not the hotel's fault. You can thank the kitted-up scooters that race up the main stretch at 4am! The plus point for being at the front was the excellent balcony with room-allocated tables and chairs. Makes for a lovely place to sit amid the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang without being at street level. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful. We didn't use the pool at all so can't comment, but the top floor restaurant is lovely and offers a great view of Ao Nang. We really enjoyed this hotel, more so because we came from another hotel (closer to the front, but terrible in so many ways) so that Phra Nang was like an oasis to us, and didn't disappoint! We booked 3 extra nights directly with reception.

Great Location at Krabi
The best about this hotels is the location, the pictures of the rooms look way better than in person, but it was clean and the size of the rooms are big. One problem was a strong smell of humidity inside the room that will get worse if we dare to turn off the AC. The place is a little updated, the staff is super friendly and they do their best to help you in anything they can. Beautiful beach walking distance from the hotel, plus there is an area close to this same beach that is populated with tons of monkeys. Don´t miss the sunset at Krabi´s beach is one of the best you will ever see. This hotel is on the main street so you will find many stores, restaurants convenience stores, pharmacies and doctor clinics.

Poor service, poor privacy in room.
Didn't even get the double-bed I booked and paid for, instead 2 single beds and a suggestion to join them together by myself... no joke. Mountain view room was a view on the rock wall of the hotel on the 1st floor. And my room was viewable by everybody who'd go to the pool. Everywhere in the hotel and inside the room are constant rule reminders and their associated heavy fines when not complying.

Pleasant hotel, would stay again
I would definitely stay there again. Clean and new hotel. The personal is super helpful and nice. There is a swimming pool in the hotel. We had a room with a balcony: it's very nice to relax in the end of the day on the balcony with a beer in the hand.

Hotel is around 7 mins walk to Aonang beach
The Grand Deluxe Family Room was spacious enough for a group of 4, with a small balcony.(Do take note that there is no lift) 4 bottles of mineral water will be provided for free everyday. The housekeeping was good. The housekeeper was polite and arranged our stuffs neatly. Towels were also folded into different animal designs daily. The washing basin is outside the toilet and the overhead shower head was nice. The breakfast buffet served is almost the same everyday, having 4 different types of egg dishes to choose from too. The hotel is very near to the aonang beach where many tour agencies can be found. Macdonalds and 7 eleven are also at a walking distance. In overall, the service was okay. Staffs do answer our questions. However, when prompted further, they may not be very willing to help.

Hotel is clean, big n water heater is always hot. Daily clean up n towels are place in decorated manner which shows human touch. Only first day Aircon was very noisy In d night. It was rectify the next day and our next 3 nights were excellent.Hotel has tour agency at lobby.We book all our tour package there n front desk will help if there is issue.Just wait at lobby. Breakfast is not good. If u can book without breakfast it will be good. There are many local eateries beside hotel. Mc Donald just 3 min walk.Room good for family.Another critic commented they don't allow 2adults n 2 kids to stay in another suite for 3 pax. Can be annoying as they stick to house rule.This information is correct.

It is a good mid-range hotel for Ao Nang beach area. Room was clean and comfortable, but not 5 star. We stayed at another place nearby for two nights and it was not as nice or as well run for the same price. I would go back here.

Hotel itself is okay but terrible neighbourhood
Good- close to the beach, cleanliness, good hot shower, breakfast. Staff - some nice, some so-so, some not so friendly. Bad - absolutely horrible neighbourhood. There is a live music house right across the street, which plays REALLY LOUD music every night 9pm-2am. If you don't wanna hear Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, etc etc I advice you not to sleep here, or have good quality ear plugs. Mosquitos in my room.

We were skeptical about this hotel. We took a family room, as there were very few rooms available during peak season. The room size was great. Our view was of the street and Family Mart across the street which made for good entertainment. The shower was wonderful, as we found few places in this star rating with hot water and good/steady pressure. The sheets and towels smelled clean, and the bed was actually a soft bed for Thailand. The A/C worked well and was quite quiet. The only thing that we had complaints about was the yukky breakfast (poor selection, unattractive breakfast setting, renovation noises from next door) and the room had not be thoroughly cleaned (sunflower seeds on the office chair, a feather accessory and paperclip on the floor, and generally the floor needed to have a mop & soap run over it).

Suosittelen huonetyyppiä uudesta rakennuksesta
Hotellin vanha osa jossa yövyimme haisi pahasti homeelta ja kostealta käytävillä sekä huoneessamme. Myös allasalueella haisi homeelta, allasalue ei ole muutenkaan niin hieno kuin kuvissa. Emme saaneet vaihdettua vanhan puolen huonetta uuden puolen/ uuden rakennuksen huoneeseen, joten jo varatessa kannattaa varata huone uudelta puolelta (kuvista näkee huoneiden eron, vanhoissa huoneissa on käytetty paljon puuta).

Hyffsat bra hotel,inte allt för långt från strand
Bra läge 10 min promenad till strand och båtarna. Rummet rent fint ,men i övrigt behöver hotellet en genomgång rengöring trappor hiss mm. WI-FI funkade dåligt på den våning jag bodde på 4e. Ingen em ,kvälls sol vid polen. Bra trevlig personal.

Hotel bien centré (10min à pied de la plage) et proche d'une multitudes de restaurants, très bon petit déjeuné et piscine très agréable. Nous avons peu apprécié les 4 étages à pieds sur des escaliers plus proche de l'échelle de meunier (avec nos 3 sacs de 80 litres ...), la climatisation très bruyante, mais qui le soir était partiellement recouverte par la musique du bar reggae d'en face. Somme toute, un peu cher pour la Thaïlande et la prestation.

Ideal für Rucksackreisende
Das Hotel bietet im Grunde alles was man als Rucksackreisender braucht. Es liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße, wodurch Restaurants, Bars, Supermärkte und Tourguides sofort erreichbar sind. Das Frühstück ist typisch thailändisch aber um sich zu stärken völlig ausreichend besonders mit Rücksicht auf die Kosten pro Nacht. Die Mitarbeiter waren durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer wurden immer ausreichend gesäubert, kostenloses Wasser gab es jeden Tag aufs neue. Der Strand ist ca. 10 Min zu Fuß weg und Souvenirläden auf dem Weg dahin verteilt. Für Leute die keinen hohen Anspruch habe, nicht in ein Hostel möchten, dennoch etwas an Geld sparen wollen genau das richtige Hotel.

Helt greit hotell til en billg penge. Fint som utgangspunkt for det som Krabi og øyene i nærheten har å by på. Rolige omgivelser. Fin liten gåtur ned til stranden. Hyggelig betjening. Dessverre alt for dårlig renhold og hotellet er infisert med faraomaur.

Musik på kvällen
Hotell personalen var jätte trevlig dom hjälpte oss med bokningar till utflykter. Det var skönt på kvällen och sitta på balkongen och lyssna på musiken från baren på andra sidan vägen. Men sängen var lite hård.

Godt til prisen - ligger lidt tilbage fra stranden
Fint værelse til prisen og ligger 10 min gang fra stranden - vi havde booket bjergudsigt, men da hotellet ikke havde flere af disse, skulle vi betale 200 bath extra for gade udsigt (hvilket vi protesterede højlydt over, men måtte betale alligevel) - bjergudsigt viste sig så at være udsigt lige ud i en bjergvæg, men gadeudsigt var lidt larmende. Morgenmaden var ikke noget specielt. Værelset var fint og sengen var dejlig at sove i.

Hotellet ligger rett på hovedgata som fører til strandpromenaden ca. 500 meter lenger nede. Det finnes mange spisesteder, massasje og 7-Eleven/Familymart i nærheten. MC-taxi og annet transportmidler stopper rett utenfor døra. Frokostbuffeten er god og inneholder brød, egg, pølser, salat, frokostblanding, saft og frukt. Så de negative tingene. Vi hadde rom i fjerde etasje og det var ikke heis der. Internett var gratis men såpass tregt til tider at jeg brukte 3G via mobilen i stedet. Gulvet var støvete. Aircondition bråkte litt. Og den ene rullegardinen var ødelagt og kunne ikke stenges. Men alt i alt var det greit nok for tre netter.

Vi köpte med kort 4 nätter på detta hotell. När vi kom dit efter en lång resa, upptäckte vi att hela lobbyn, reception och frukostplats var under ombyggnad och var en byggarbetsplats. På vänster sida om hotellet var en byggnad under konstruktion. Frågade när arbetet började på morgonen och fick svars till kl 10.00 då frukosten slutade. Det visade sig att det inte stämde. Kl 8.00 började det hamras och sågas från hotellet och bygget till vänster. Detta pågick även under lördagen och söndagen. Hotellets personal upplyste oss de varit i kontakt med Hotels.com men ingen info hade kommit fram på hemsidan. Kände oss fångade i en råttfälla då vi redan betalt för rummet och tycker att med tanke på det att vi har betalt ett överpris. Bild och ljudbevis finnes.

Helt greit hotell hvis det er for en kortere periode, vi bodde uten altan, men det var fin uteplass å sitte på om kvelden. 5minutter gåtur til standen, rolig å stille nabolag. Hyggelige personale. Eneste negative var at handukene sjeldent var rene og kontinental frokosten var elendig. Men billig og greit hvis du ikke er av den pripne typen!

EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY
We thought it was an excellent choice... they were courteous, sent a car to pick us up at the airport (for a cost), our room was comfortably large, and well located with lots of stores and restaurants of all types, just a short walk from the beach... we enjoyed our stay there very much. Our room was in the 4th floor with no elevator, so it was hard checking in and out, but the rest of the time it was actually good to loose some of the calories you get from the wonderful meals all over the place! Breakfast was good (only a little slow). Really recommend it.
