10 minute walk from the centre.Posted Apr 9, 2017
Great breakfast with immaculate presentation. The beds are a very firm. The shower is powerful. It's not got the greatest view but then again we used it to sleep and eat breakfast. The kitchen is open all the time so you can get drinks. Really great for the price!

Good location for exploring the cityPosted Mar 23, 2017
Pros: Location close to station
Cons: larger beds
Location: Bus station/train station/shopping centre/fast food/old town
If you are looking for a location to base yourself and explore Krakow this is a good option. It is close to the main train/bus station which also has a shopping centre. If you are looking to spend time in your room then you probably need to look for another option as there is no tv in the room and the wifi signal isn't that great. Staff are friendly and a basic continental style breakfast is provided. Room was clean but felt cold despite the heating and a lot of light came through the curtains. Personally didn't really like the single bed.

Very odd bijou place, well located for station, something out of pre-war France or communist era, excellent breakfast, free wifi, very nice landlady.

Not again.Posted Sep 21, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel is old and lights etc work at will. Room aveage, but dining room could do with cleaning. Limited breakfast selection, had better for price. Don't ask too many questions after one, seems to be an effort to help. Parking outside on the street, derelict houses close by and strong smell of urine! No transport links to the centre, only taxi or walk for 15-20 minutes. Not again!!!

Cheap comfortable accommodationPosted Sep 12, 2015
Pros: Excellent breakfast - plenty to suit everyone.
Cons: If you want 4* accommodation don' t stay here. coffee and tea making facilities in room would be good
Location: Near bus and train stations, easy walk to main square. If you are looking for cheap comfortable accommodation it is fine
The proprietress and her son were very helpful - what more can I say. We were out all day, every day

A hit for usPosted Sep 10, 2015 on Hotels
At first glance, the guest house is a little unsettling, but we had a great time, the hosts are very nice and the breakfast was amazing! I definitely recommend if you want to spend your time in Krakow in a more local setting than a regular hotel! If I go back, I will stay there again!

CHARMING!Posted Jul 6, 2015 on Hotels
If you are looking for the true spirit of old Polish buildings in a calm neighborhood and with decent prices you will find it right here. We spend five days in this guesthouse outside from the city centre (tough at a walkable distance) and we completely fell in love with it. Its old style furbishing, wooden floors, huge back garden, room terrace, large fresh breakfast, charming owners and even a lovely cat roaming freely around the hotel, left us desiring for more. However, this is an old low budget hotel, you will get a minimum comfort but do not expect swimming pools, massages and spa areas.

Isolated next to CemeteryPosted Jun 20, 2015
Pros: Quiet, reasonably priced
Location: Ten minute walk to train station. Twenty minute walk to restaurants and businesses.
The guesthouse is difficult to find and is quite isolated. It is located next to the cemetery and next to a monument/gravestone business. It is about a twenty minute walk from the main square area and there are no restaurants or businesses nearby. The owner did not speak English so communication was a challenge. The tone of the guesthouse was somewhat macabre and unsettling due to the isolation and proximity to the cemetery. However if you like a quiet place and don't mind the sense of isolation it is reasonably priced and close to the train station.
