Krakow - more than we expected.

Pros: It was right in the heart of the city, handy for tours and the life happening around us was great.
Cons: A lift to the second floor.
Location: As above - the location couldn't have been better for joining free walking tours, enjoying the horses and listening to the Bugler.
We loved Krakow - and our accommodation was fantastic as it was right on the square. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The only thing I could grumble about was that there is no lift up to our apartment on the second floor- but if your apartment is on a higher floor there is a lift. I believe there will be upgrading done over their winter months so this may change. Accommodation was basic but clean and comfortable.

Excellent Accommodation - very central

Pros: Staff were very welcoming and very pleasant. Rooms were spotless
Location: Location was very central. we were besides lots of restaurants and shops and bars.
We loved this accommodation. We were a family of 4 - all adults. The hotel was very central being in the old town. There was lots of restaurants and bars and shops in very close proximity. The rooms were spotless and the staff very pleasant and very helpful. Our flight wasn't until late on the last day and they had no problem storing our luggage. The only thing to note was that the room was on the 4th floor - which was up 8 short flights of stairs - however we knew that before we arrived. And it kept me fit :D Thank you for a lovely stay and we would definitely stay again.

Location: The location was ideally located within the main Market square giving access to plentiful of cafe, bars, restaurants nearby.
Very comfortable apartment, very clean in a central location in Market Square of Kraków. Helpful staff and was pleasantly surprised that apartments had additional fully equipped kitchenette, fridge, electric cooker hob and plenty of utensils. Also provided towels, shower gel etc and iron/ironing board. The location was above and beyond my expectations and competitively priced.

Very comfortable and conveniently situated

Pros: Clean, great location, pleasant staff, plenty of cupboard and drawer space for clothes
Cons: The stairs and corridors could do with a face-lift.
Location: Right in the heart of the city centre. Everything is on your doorstep.
Just spent 4 days in the apartments with my family. Although the communal areas looked their age, our studios had obviously recently been refurbished and were in excellent condition. Clean, bright, functional and with everything you needed to make your stay pleasant. A large and comfortable bed; the kitchen area had a new refrigerator, halogen hob and was was well appointed with pans, cups glasses etc. They even supplied washing-up liquid and washer. The shower room had plenty of space, was clean with new tiles and the shower was roomy, powerful with always plenty of hot water. When a bulb went out in the shower room the staff fixed it straight away. The reception staff were very friendly and spoke perfect English. Our room "overlooked" the courtyard - not that there is a courtyard really, so was very quiet. The location couldn't be better - right on the main square, so when you come out of the hotel you are right where the action is with restaurants, shops, market stalls and attractions all on your doorstep. The Courtyard Apartments don't have an elevator so anyone having difficulties with stairs might have problems, but for me the exercise of walking up and down 3 floors several times a day helped offset the benefits of the excellent food in Krakow. (The hotel does have an elevator, but I assume for the other apartments). I would certainly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back again.

This apartment / hotel was in an excellent location, right next to the main city. £54 per night seemed good value. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was basic, possibly in need of decoration. The bed was close to the entrance door right off of a central staircase. We didn't spend much time in the room. We had issues with the noise level at night. both nights we were there we were woken up on several occasions when other guests were going back to their rooms. Overall good value but don't forget your earplugs!

Pros: The bed was very comfortable after busy day. The room itself was extremely clean it had all we needed to enjoy our stay.
Location: The location was perfect for us right on the Market square with plenty of restaurants, cafe bars. We found lovely places to eat each day.

Pros: Clean and recently renovated. Had a kitchenette with fridge and stove. Walking distance to everything we needed. Good value.
Cons: Our shower over flowed each day. We were on the second floor and no elevators so had to carry luggage up 4 flights of stairs.
Location: Very good restaurants and shopping. Old town has a market and is close to the Wawel Castle, trams, historic buildings, churches and Jewish Sector.
Hotel is in a pedestrian zone right in the heart of old town. Lots of excellent restaurants and shopping close by. Easy to book tours from kiosks on the streets. We booked tours to Auschwitz, Schindler's factory and the Salt Mines from Krakow Tours and they were all very good and well priced.

Pros: The Venetian is basic but very clean. As it's very cheap you can't expect anything else.
Cons: Unfortunately we were on the 4th floor and there is no lift. We are in our 60's and we found the stairs difficult and tiring.
Location: The old square is busy and full of street entertainment and markets, restaurants and pubs.
Just arrived home after a long weekend in Krakow for my son's 40th birthday. Poland is beautiful and there is a lot to do within walking distance from the hotel. You must see the salt mines and Auschwitcz, they are a must see but a lot of walking and stairs involved. I would recommend this hotel as it's in a great location and as long as you are not looking for luxury it's adequate for a weekend away. I would go again as long as I was recommended a room on a lower floor!

If you are fit and able this apartment would be fantastic for you, as there are lots of steps to get to the apartment and the bed is very low to the ground. We had an apartment which looked out onto the courtyard which meant that we were not disturbed by any of the noise from the hustle and bustle of the square. The square is beautiful with lots of restaurants and bars with shaded tables and chairs which you can sit all night and watch the world go by. I would definately visit Kraków again as there is so much to do, and we only got half of it done in our 3 day stay! The apartment was well appointed and had a lovely little kitchen with hob, kettle, toaster, fridge and sink. All the crockery and cutlery were provided and is beautifully clean and modern. Well worth a visit !
