We have been coming here for years. The beds are comfortable and the staff is friendly. But their hot tub and pool is usually out of service every year we come here which is disappointing because after a day of riding, a hot tub would feel great.

The team that runs this hotel is amazing. They were very accommodating and helpful when we ended up stuck due to a road closure. The inside is very clean and the rooms are nice.

Fabulous place to stay!
The front desk staff was incredibly nice and friendly and the hotel was very, very clean and quiet. Great place to stay! We had two kids with us. There was a microwave near the ice machine and vending machines so we were able to heat up our food. Breakfast was good, too. We stayed for one night after enjoying the hot springs at Hot Sulphur Springs resort and will definitely go back again.

Great little place... Property is older, but clean and well maintained. The check in was quick and easy and the room was comfortable and quiet with a beautiful view. Breakfast was the usual chain hotel fare. Small pool with a hot tub I really enjoyed (hotter and more 'bubbly' than most) 😊

Surprised in Montrose Stay Wise Awesome
The perfect stop over! Montrose is cute and Stay Wise was a Gem! We had the jetted tub suite. It was sweet!! Homemade omelettes for breakfast. All the staff was perfectly friendly. Can’t wait to visit again!

A very disappointing stY
I spent a lot for just 2 nights at this hotel just to stay in a room that was sooo hot that all we did was sweat really bad at night. The so called AC didn’t blow much at all and the air coming out was warm. Had to sleep with window open and wet towels. The pool was really warm and not refreshing. You walk in pool room and it was like walking into a sauna. The breakfast was very disappointing.

We have a hard-working team that strives to keep rooms in working order and if we ever fall short, we're sorry and of course want to know about it. Maintenance on the the A/C unit for this room is being addressed.I was also sorry to hear that you did not enjoy our pool or breakfast. I think it would be helpful to the readers to describe the breakfast so everyone knows what to expect. Typically, our guests really enjoy the complimentary Deluxe Continental Breakfast. We serve waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, a variety of cold cereals, a variety of fruit juices, coffee, herbal teas, instant oatmeal, bagels, muffins, and bread for toast. If a guest wants a full hot breakfast, we're happy to recommend nearby restaurants within walking distance. We do appreciate your feedback. I never saw anyone who works here standing around. They’re constantly cleaning windows, vacuuming stairs, making coffee. Their efforts and attention to detail are evident. The rooms are very clean.
