This hotel is in a good location and has the potential to be a nice hotel. However, it was not clear when booking or anywhere on the website that it is undergoing major refurbishment and that key facilities are not available. We booked the hotel specifically because it offered a pool but this was out of action. When I mentioned this on check out they did say we could have used one about 5 minute walk away (which is not likely) and which was not mentioned at check in. The restaurant seemed to be temporary and the one morning we did attempt breakfast it was extremely busy and we were told to find a table, this was impossible as it was totally chaotic and packed with people so we gave up. Shame as the room was good, the staff friendly and location great.
