A nice retreat...

Pros: I like the fact that it was close to the beach and the beach is very clean...
Cons: The rooms need some touch up....
I booked here for two days...i love this hotel, the beach is clean private, good pool, kids friendly and my parents loved it.

Nice hotel with nice environment

Pros: The beach, the spacious room, the lobby, the environment.
Cons: The breakfast, the mattress.
Location: The location is OK, not too far from Kuantan. We can find many sea food restaurants around. You can go to Cherating or Teluk Chempedak from here.
We came here to spend a weekend. This is the second time we stay in this hotel. We like this hotel because it is close to the beach. We wake up very early to watch the sunrise from the beach. The swimming pool looks very nice too. It is big. Unfortunately, we did not have the occasion to try it. We'll try it in our next visit. The room is spacious, clean, with tile floor (no carpet). The breakfast is OK, not exceptional, but there are enough choices for everybody. The lobby is nice, with someone playing piano in the evening.

Good hotel location; the open style lobby n reception area was very welcoming; thoroughly enjoyed the pool n jacuzzi facility with the beach right at the door step...enjoyed strolling along the beach. We felt the overall staff service could do with some improvement, especially at check-in counter & garden café. Room was good size n comfortable, but the bathroom could do with some upgrading. Disappointed with the bathub as not easy to get in n out...risk of tripping. Better to install shower stall instead...that would be preferred. Enjoyed dinner at the chinese restaurant. Overall we had an enjoyable & pleasant stay.

Pleasant stay at Swiss Garden Kuantan

After initial check in late evening and arriving at allocated room, it appeared the room was not very thoroughly cleaned. Left it till morning and via assistant front desk manager was relocated to a much better room, with the normal apologies. Food in the restaurant is excellent, breakfast is excellent and staff is more then friendly, going out of their way to please the guests.

Close to a dirty beach

The beach and its waters are so filthy. The executive deluxe room felt like a superior room with a deluxe price. The plus point is it's facing the pool. The AC in the room is not cold. Buffet is average but the price is too expensive.

One of the best hotels available in Kuantan.

Pros: Near to the beach
Cons: The rooms need better lighting and the conditions need to be freshen up.
It is supposed to be the best hotel near Kuantan after Hyatt Hotel is closed for renovation. But I am not very happy with the stay. The room lighting is insufficient and the conditions are quite rundown. Would go back to Hyatt once it is ready for business unless major refurbishment is done

I have been staying in this hotel for so many times due to business. What I can said is the front desk service and attitude is getting worse especially when they are busy. The rest are not bad.
