Charming but not practical
The venue from the outside is amazing; has lots of character and charm. The room however, was extremely dark. The chandeler was too big and long for the low ceiling and hardly made any difference when it was on. I understand that hotel lighting is always dim but we literally had to use our mobile torches if we wanted to take anything out of our suitcase or if we had to look for something. The heater was extremely loud. It literally kept us awake for the entire 3 nights we were there. The restaurant was very good although very expensive.
