“The description is accurate. It’s a very spacious, clean space that overlooks a cute little frog pond. I appreciated the earplugs the host left for those were bothered by the frogs at night, but they actually were quite lovely to hear. This is not a beachfront property, but if you’re just looking for a nice clean homebase, nice kitchen and comfortable living and dining areas, this is perfect.”

“The location was great. The condo was small but comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, paper towels, dish soap and very limited spices. There were two nice beach chairs and two beach towels. The bathroom had 4 bath towels, wash cloths, etc. There was a nice balcony with a table and two chairs. Sitting on the balcony at sunset is a must. Hundreds of parakeets fly in the next for the night. For the price, this is a great condo. It’s old but comfortable”

“Best thing about this place is location. Very close to beach and strip mall right across from this resort property. Few things which were disappointing was the noise from the wild chickens that wander the property. They started making noise every morning at round 3AM. "Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
