Nice clean hotel

Posted Apr 2, 2018
Had the best long weekend in Kununurra. Topped off by the most friendly hotel staff, great pub meals and service, nice pool and huge family friendly hotel room. Would stay again and again.

OK hotel

Posted Mar 25, 2018 on Hotels
This is an old hotel near the town centre. its clean comfortable and non pretentious . This is an outback town assuming that hotels are occupied during the dry and few tourists during the wet (we are at the end of the wet now). The prices double during the dry season. Its not a town to stay at if watching the pennies because its is expensive. This hotel though like all the rest will flactuate but is the most reasonable. WELCOME TO THE OUTBACK

Oh dear!!

We stayed here and were very disappointed. You could feel the bed spring, tiles were generally smelling clean but very slippery, and this was much worse in the bathroom where tiles were highly glazed which became dangerous when wet. The breakfast buffet ran from 7am and we got there about 1/4 past. we were first in and there were 3 slices of ham and cheese covered with cling wrap on one plate. On another were 3 Danish pastries and 4 hard boiled eggs, also covered with cling wrap. There were also 3 half used bags of bread (raisin and 2 multigrain). The urn for tea was stone cold. It was certainly not appetising and finished off a none to appealing stay.

This hotel offers basic amenities. For our stopover it was sufficient for what we need.
