Bad experience with Mövenpick Hotel Kuwait

My experience with Mövenpick Hotel Kuwait is a total disaster. First, as soon as I arrived to the hotel, the manager told me that I have arrived to a wrong hotel, even though all the signs around saying that this is the Mövenpick hotel! The manager said that the Mövenpick is just a cross the street. We went to the other "Mövenpick" hotel and they gave us the room. Later, I discovered that they have transferred us to "The Convention Center & Royal Suites" which is just beside Mövenpick and they still insisted that it is Mövenpick! Like if we are fool! No apology or upgrading or anything provided. Second, they had wedding every night (I stayed for 5 nights) and the noise was really a nightmare till 1 or 2 AM. In some cases, police officers came to the hotel to manage the crowd! In one night, I went to purchase some food and drinks from outside and surprised that all the hotel doors were closed because so many people were clustered around the hotel to attend the wedding while the hotel already reached its max capacity!!! Third, the furniture and bathroom were old and ruined. I really do recommend that Hotels.com further investigate this issue and check the authenticity of this hotel to the famous high class Mövenpick hotels as this hotel hardly earn a 3 stars hotel.

It was good but ..

It was a good hotel but it is so far from the city and you can not bring out side food which is not good and annoying

Moevenpick Kuwait in February 2016

Pros: Staff, location, safety and security, amenities, services and cleanliness.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: Within easy reach of the hotel are: Kuwait Towers, Paint Balling, Go-Karting, Jet-skiing, Fly Boarding, The Avenues Shopping Mall, Zoo, Water Park
Once again, I had a very enjoyable stay at this fabulous hotel conveniently located outside the city centre of Kuwait City. As always, the staff are very polite, pleasant and they take care of all the clients' needs and requirements. The hotel has a relaxing atmosphere and caters well for people of all ages and abilities. The amenities are excellent including swimming pool, gym, play ground and large garden. The ideal place to bring the whole family or simply have a wonderful weekend being well looked after. Transport to and from the airport and other places of interest is provided by the hotel and they have a brilliant breakfast buffet that caters well for people with all kinds of dietary requirements such as vegetarian, diabetic or vegan. I have been staying at this hotel regularly since September 2015 and always look forward to going back which is usually every month!

Superb Hotel close to all major Attractions!

This hotel accommodates the needs of all travelers, be it single, family, groups or couples. The hotel is in s quiet location away from the city centre and has excellent facilities such as swimming pool, restaurants and a cafe, plus a gym and childrens' playground. Something for everyone. The limousine service is superb. Pick up from the airport is included plus various trips to local places of interest are arranged, too. Superb service. All staff are very friendly, courteous and will do their best to accommodate guests' needs. The outdoor dining facilities are brilliant.something to look forward to and enjoy in the evening. I am coming back every month and will stay twice this month over. Christmas and New Year. Highly recommended.
