Great Location
Right in the centre of town and across the road from the main souk. Great Indian Breakfast and awesome service and Biriyani at the Tipu Sultan Restaurant inside hotel. Metered cab to airport will cost 5 KWD, or hotel will arrange for 6. Close to a major bus stop also.

Okay for a 12-hour layover
If you are in Kuwait for transit day visa, this hotel/motel will work. Was only in the city for about 12 hours and since the airport does not have luggage storage, decided to rent a room in Oasis for the day. Nothing like what the photos show on Hotels.com. Staff is not that helpful. Bedrooms are old, no modern updates at all.

Not an enjoyable stay
The hotel was going under extensive facelift, during my 3 day stay they changed the carpet, re papering the walls and were fixing the lifts. The whole place stunk of gasoline or whatever they used to fix the carpet and I was disappointed with the noise so overall it was not as enjoyable as my previous stay. The hotel management did not apologize or offset these problems but just ignored it and there was a lack of customer care missing in all.

Best moderate hotel I've ever stayed in!
In a moderate hotel rated not to be luxurious, this is the best one I've ever stayed in since I started traveling at the age of 23 years. The staff was very helpful in everything I requested, etc. Have never met a more friendly staff! It was also an experience to get a box of chocolates on our last night at the hotel.

Great hotel, can walk to cultural epicenter
Brand new down comforters very comfy bed, room smelled fresh not musty, I checked in late at night and staff couldn't find my reservation but accommodated me anyway without hassle. The view from rooms is top notch and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Great value for the price.

Good staff and nice breakfast but old and noisy
Good sides: Hotel staffs are friendly. The breakfast is located at the 10th floor with nice traditional Indian decoration. Bad sides: It appears that the hotel does not classify non-smoking and smoking rooms. I have changed two rooms and both have a strong smell of smoking although I ask for non-smoking rooms. Many guests smoke and chat at the hallway until very late. During my stay, the smoking alarm was activated several times. The hotel is facing a busy street intersection. So, there are a lot of noise from the hallway and the street. The windows are dirty. Finally, there is a big construction besides the hotel. So, the hotel entrance is not easy to be noticed and there are a lot of trash besides the back door of the hotel.

Not worth the money you paid
I am really disappointed about hotel service, furniture and extremely uncomforting bed. I would give it less one star if there is class less than that. Also very limited car parking, noise, no shuttle service and taxi they order charge three times compared to the street taxi.

Clean enough hotel sandwiched between a building under construction. Emailed hotel for pickup at the airport and it never arrived, so took an airport taxi for 8 KD. Decent Indian restaurant onsite. Comfy bed with warm shower. Nothing bad but nothing great about this hotel.

Next to a construction site
The hotel is located next to a building site. This means that the rooms giving to the back are incredibly noisy. Incredibly the construction is happening at night, so you get strong noise during the night. One night it lasted all night so I couldn't sleep at all. I asked the reception to move me to another room facing the front (where there is traffic) and they did and that was much better.

Budget Hotel
The best thing about the Oasis is that the staff are really wanting to help and are service minded. Aside from this there are a number of things that could be improved. A loud alarm buzzer sounding for no apparent reason in the night and in the morning at unpredictable times, which doesn't help to sleep. Size of room is quite good and bed comfortable. Furniture and facilities are rather run-down and could use a renovation. However for Kuwait the price is a budget price, so no reason to complain. If you want a five star you pay a bit more in Kuwait.

The worst experience
There was a bugs on the pelow, and then I found a died insects (they called it flies,, it was really strang flies for me) under the bed. The table in the resturant at the breakfast were nit clean at all,, even the plates,, it was the worst experience I have ever had.
