Thank You! Our only wish would be coffee in the room or at least access to coffee before 0700 when the breakfast buffet opened. Very clean and relaxing. Wonderful breakfast buffet with a beautiful outside patio to enjoy it. Having a bar at the pool was really a fantastic addition! Hvala! Everyone was kind.

Lovely big suite great for family of four. Indoor and ourdoor pools and location are great. The thing thatvreallyblets this hotel doen is the food, we were half biard and the buffet dinner was bland and distinctively average, not befotting of four stars at all. There were also not enough waiting staff so took ages ti get their attention to order drinks so these would often arrive post eating of the main course. The plates would pile up on the table too. We ended up eating at local restaurants 3 nights so was very bad value from that perspective.

Great hotel and recommend
Hotel is right on the lungomare and in an ideal place for a very short walk into town. We thought the location was perfect as the walk into town was 5 minutes max along the lungomare. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice. Room size was excellent. We stay at the end of September so plenty of parking available at the hotel. Beauty salon is on floor 3 but isn't well signposted. Wife had 30 mins reflexology (180 kn) and 60 mins lymphatic drainage massage (380 kn) as she wanted something different from the usual offerings. She thought it was brilliant.

Small rooms, but modern and newly renovated
Pretty decent four star hotel at a good location. Reception/lobby area is a bit hard to find and feels a bit strange. The hotel rooms are quite small, with very small bathrooms. It might get a bit tricky if you are size large, or have limited movability. The rooms are however very modern and clean although sound isolation is pretty bad. There's no traffic or other noise from bars or nightclubs, but sound from other hotel rooms or the corridor might annoy you. Hotel has a quite decent breakfast buffé and the evening buffés are very good given the price.

Opatija stay
Hotel is fully redecorated and renovated. Room was spacious with good size balcony overlooking City of Rijeka, local Marina and outdoor swimming pool. We have had a half board included in our stay, so breakfast offer was excellent with varieties of mediterranean, continental and English breakfast too. Dinner usually consisted of three to four meals (at least one fish dish), salad bar and plenty of side dishes to choose. There were two soups on offer every evening and great choice of desserts (fresh fruit and ice cream too). Hotel does not' have its own beach but guests can use beach of the nearby hotel Kristal. Hotel has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, both filled with fresh sea water and indoor is heated too. There was no kettle in the room, however we learned last day, you need to ask for one at the front desk if you wish to have it in the room.

Opatija Weekend stay
Hotel is fully redecorated and renovated in 2019 so it still has a smell of freshness. Rooms are a bit small, particularly bathrooms however everything is in a very good condition. Each room has lovely balcony (seaside view) from where you can observe swimming pool, small port (marina) and city of Rijeka (spectacular view in the night). We have had a half board included in our stay, so breakfast offer was excellent with varieties of mediterranean, continental and English breakfast too. Dinner usually consisted of three to four meals (at least one fish dish), salad bar and plenty of side dishes to choose. Parking is offered by hotel in their garage (charged!), however spaces are limited so we parked outside in front of the hotel in the City of Opatija controlled parking for the same price as in hotel. Great hotel, nice rooms and great view from the balcony overlooking the sea. Good breakfast and the hotel had a great location. I recommend walking the path that passes by the hotel along the sea. Only minus is that the AC did not work properly, and even if it did you can only adjust it down 2 degrees, to get it colder you need to call the front desk. I tried a few times, but it just kept getting warmer.

All rooms with sea views, food choice ok but dinner drinks are not included and compulsory; 500 meters uphill walk from bus station unless you use the lungomore paths, overall it’s a tourist class hotel and don’t expect any luxury.

A great stay with wonderful sea view
Great location: 10-minute walk from the bus station and center. It’s easy finding and in a quiet area.The room is very clean and well-designed with the wonderful sea view. It’s very quiet and warm also the mattress and bedding are so comfortable that I got a very good sleep. The staff is very helpful, polite and friendly. The breakfast is tasty with variety. The only minus is the jacuzzi and the pool. The water is a little cold.

When we first did the check in we had got a bad room, but then we asked change it and we had a better one; the reception did knew about the problems of this room and still they tried to give it to us. Waiting almost 2 hours for our rooms. People are very pleasant. Sink in bathroom was made by someone not so smart, and someone even less smarter paid for that work.

Nice hotel for a reasonable price
We only stayed one night but it was fine. The hotel is clean, the buffet breakfast and dinner are good. My only complaint is the smoke smell which seemed to linger around the hotel.

In all the years of traveling around the world I have never experience what my husband and I do at this hotel. Staff careless no customer service what so ever. In the rooms air conditioning poor, bathrooms the water spills out of the tub. The humidity smell in the rooms horrible. We will never go back to this hotel or recommended Worth experience ever

Nicely located hotel, only a few minutes walk from the centre of Opatija. We had a superior room with a view of the small marina by the hotel. The room could have done with a bit of smartening up, the paintwork and carpet was a little tatty, but the beds and pillows were comfortable. The tap in the bathroom did not fit over the sink properly so washing your hands caused the water to go everywhere. We had half board and the food was help yourself buffet style. Overall it was good with quite a choice available.

I booked this hotel planning to rest and relax. I expected to spend the day using the outdoor pool and lounge chairs- nope! The pool is under construction and has been for awhile. Disappointed! On a lighter note, the staff were lovely and helpful.

Very nice hotel, new spa and swimming pool, rooms refurbished with some older parts like doors etc but still ok. I personally like bathtub but they have modern flat showers. View from the room is great. Location great. Breakfast great.

The AC was stuck on 83 degrees and after I called the reception they sent the technician after 3 hrs. He simply said the AC is working fine and if I am not happy with it I should change the room. There was no concierge service. When I asked the reception for help with some travel plan they told me they don't have time then and I should come back later. I don't recommend this hotel since the service was not good.

Nice for a family vacation
The hotel seems to have been recently renovated. The suite was spacious and comfortable. Indoors heated pool was the favourite of our kids, while the outdoors pool was big enough for some laps. Beautiful views over the sailing vessels on the marina. Located right on the promenade by the coast, it invites you for an afternoon stroll. Many restaurants and cocktail bars in the vicinity. Breakfast could be more varied, but still it was good enough. Overall, very recommended.

It has been one of the best budget hotels we have stayed at. Clean, friendly, efficient, variety of food choices (tasty) and picturesque. Surrounding area was beautiful and great links to island trips, local cities and other towns. Night life buzzing, with some lovely restaurants, bars and ice cream parlours!!! Would definatly recommend!

Wonderfull hotel, fine service - especially around the pool area. Fine quiet place eventhough in the City center. Parking at the hotel a little expensive. Croatia is a very fine country to visit - nice people and nature and not that expensive.

the hotel was good value. the food was very good, the view lovely although the balcony was in need of a little care and attention. the location was excellent and most of the staff were attentive and thoughtful. BUT>>>>!!!! the towels!!!!!!!! They were appalling!! Really thin and flat. Very difficult to dry yourself and so uncomfortable! Come on Hotel Admiral, some new fluffy towels would make such a difference as well as some dispensers where you could actually manage to squeeze out some soap. I had to go and buy soap as I was unable to get any out of the dispensers. it makes you look a bit mean!
