no evening dining service led to eating out for everybody. Needed dedicated disabled spaces, but more urgently a lift indoors.

Lovely weekend in Mallaig
Lovely hotel. Room was very comfortable and brilliant sea view. Only down side was the restaurant was closed during our stay, but great places nearby to eat

The Staff were very pleasant, the Room itself clean and comfy, We thought it rather expensive at 217.50 for one night, and then 16.00 each for Buffet Breakfast wasnt good value at all. Would look for alternative next time.

An absolute gem
We absolutely loved the sunset views from the outdoor area. We wished we had more time to spend in this quaint little town - it was the highlight of our trip

Fabulous hotel, great atmosphere, gorgeous room, kind helpful Staff, good facilities. Convenient for town. Didn’t eat here. The only thing they could have improved was we rushed for our ferry in the morning but it had been cancelled - they could add a service where they offer updated to services?

Perfect for a night
We stayed for just 1 night. A beautiful house, good restaurant & lively bar. Not many choices on the menu, but good food. The room was small, comfortable beds. One point: we couldn‘t open the bathroom window, it was high up (pitch of a roof) + impossible to reach..

Mallaig is lovely. We had a very good experience at the West Highland Hotel. The stairs were good excercise 🙂 Close to the train stop and the Ferry dock. Our room was lovely, very clean and peacefully quiet. The staff was kindly helpful. We would stay there again.

The King Suite was beautiful. The place was well taken care of and offered a unique and wonderful experience. Hotel was clean, comfortable and unique. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I’ve never been to any hotel that books a band to play inside the hotel lobby directly under all of the rooms until midnight. Our room was directly above the lobby and it was so loud our room vibrated from the music. Who were we supposed to complain to? The band was set up directly across from the reception desk. It was impossible to sleep and we did not enjoy our stay. Also, the restaurant was closed during our stay which was disappointing. Lastly, my reservation says I booked a king bed but it was a queen. On a positive note the hotel is very quaint and in a beautiful setting. It overlooks the harbor and is conveniently located to the co op and a few restaurants.

Extremely pleasant stay. Friendly and efficient staff and welcoming atmosphere. Live music in the bar was a great touch. Unfortunate that due to staff shortages the restaurant wasn’t open but hopefully thats short term.
