Modern, good location, would stay again
It’s located only a few mins walking away from Kyoto station, room is modern and compact, you can get your packeted drip coffee at the lobby before you take the elevator. Wish the TV has some English channels

Great budget hotel in a very central location, within easy walking distance from Kyoto Station. Rooms were small but functional and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel location is convenient. Although the bathroom seems to be remodeled recently, the room,especially the sofa looked old with some stains on it. It needs to be remodeled.

The location is very strategic, It is near around 300m walking distance to Kyoto Station (using Hachijo East Exit if im not mistaken the spelling) It also near to subway Kyoto station and bus station Near to Family Mart & Coco Ichibanya Curry The room is very spacious and affordable, the amenities are quite nice, but my advice you can add bath salt would be nice And the front desk is very polite and friendly to us tourist from other country as well

It was cheap, clean, and quiet. I had no serious problems with anything. The lobby was also welcoming and open to anyone. Guests weren't allowed in the rooms, despite the fact that I've paid to stay there, which made for some inconvenience. The bed and pillows were also a bit stiff.

Staff were friendly, they knew proper procedure for checking in foreign residents, rooms were fine, overall it was an enjoyable stay. My only complaint is the dryer in the clothes washing room is only a heater. Better to just go to a coin laundry nearby.

Nice place to stay, clean and good value in Kyoto
7 minutes walk from kyoto station, good place while transit to osaka. Room is standard small, but clean Love the check out machine. Late check out is very costly, suggest you to check out on appointed time

Great stay
It was a great hotel for the value. Staff was friendly, the room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet, and had a nice view towards the mountains. It was also only a short walk to the train and subway station.

Great spot close to Kyoto Station
The hotel is super close to the Kyoto station, which is very convenient. The staff was incredibly helpful and even helped us book dinner reservations. The room was clean and had everything we needed (hair dryer, multiple outlets). My husband had breakfast downstairs and said there was tons of options. Overall, a great hotel for the price in a perfect location to get around Kyoto.

About 5 mins walk from Kyoto Station in a quiet neighborhood. The exterior of the building looks modern but inside the lobby feels cramped. Staff is friendly but awkward when she asked me to pick tea & coffee packs from a basket. Our room located at the end of the hallway & the interior has an odd layout & outdated decor. The double bed is tucked in one corner & the mattress looks sinking. The dark colored carpet & curtains + insufficient lighting make the room very depressing. Obviously, we weren't happy with the assigned room so decided to leave early in the morning to our next destination. We paid for a deluxe double room but the condition is far less than our expectation.

Comfortable stay in Kyoto
Comfortable, close by Kyoto station, perfect location, with a good hefty breakfast served in the mornings. The staff is very attentive, they are all capable of communicating in English. Very clean hotel, with a green eco-friendly perspective ... would recommend it any time!

Walking distance to Kyoto Station
One night at this Daiwa Roynet property in Kyoto as I extended my stay in Kyoto and there was not availability at my first hotel, for my final night. So, I chose this hotel based on my pleasant stay at their property in Tokyo Ginza and this location within walking distance of Kyoto train station. They clearly cater to businessmen and apparently there are lots of smokers too. Requested a non-smoking room but the odor of smoke was clearly apparent in my room, probably from the ventilation system? Overall good value and location and staff was pleasant.
