Nice hotel near to shopping district.

Approxi. 30min walk to gion, 30min away from niji castle, kinkaku etc. Exit 4 of Karasuma station less than 5min away but would advice to use exit 1 since it has lift there.

The hotel is new and well-located. It is well-staffed and helpful, although few English speakers. Did not have breakfast or other meals there. Did not appear to have a bar.

Great Kyoto Hotel

Fantastic hotel. Very helpful staff. Great location with lots of good restaurants in walking distance. One block from subway stop and three blocks from major bus stop, so easy to get just about anywhere. Nice laundry facilities right in the building.

Daiwa Roynet Hotel

Pros: The comfortable bed, nice well led bright toilet and space to open two luggage bags and still had space to walk around.
An excellent hotel at a good reasonable price with new refurbished amenities. Location is also good as it is about 10mins walking distance to Shin Kyogoku shopping district. If you are hungry at night, there is Lawson, 7-11 and Family mart nearby.

It is a very nice hotel. Close to the mtr station and nearby shopping places.
