good choice in Kyoto

It is a nice hotel, the staff is friendly, I had a nice room...
They just seem to be burdened a bit with unnecessary administration. For example, to purchase a breakfast I had to go to the reception (and wait in line), give them money, to get a receipt, which then I had to go to another place to have breakfast. If I wanted to have e.g. a coke with the breakfast, I better think of it ahead, because that is also something you have to go to the reception to pay... quite strange.
