This is a 2 or 3 stars hotel max not a 5 star hotel Super hard to find the hotel, hard to find the front desk, basically it was at Hyatt .. Cleaning crew did a reasonable cleaning job, the shape of the unit was horrible for named 5 star hotel. Damaged furniture, doors, DIRTY walls, NASTY overall.

Our room was most comfortable with separate bedroom and living area, including mini-kitchen. Check-in is at the adjacent Hyatt Regency which has a breathtaking Lobby area and spectacular views from the Roof-Top Lounge. The Hotel is nearby the Airport and beach areas south of Barcelona. Area avoides congested Barcelona center with easy access to highways.

Reception/ check in is at Hyatt Tower
It was a wonderful stay. My only complaint is that first day of arrival to the property was very confusing. I didn’t realize that reception will be at the Hyatt Tower. Came to the Hesperia Fira entrance first and wondering if i was on the right property. a random person eventually came up me and pointed to the Hyatt tower. Was sweating going back and forth until i decided to just ask the bellboy at Hyatt if he can tell me about the hotel. He said oh the check in is here. Not a good start of my stay.

Nice hotel, beautiful interior, good location. A major drawback is good audibility, you can hear everything that is happening in the next room, even how your neighbor snores. The bed is narrow for two people. The recommendation for the hotel is to increase the number of cutlery, which is generally enough, but I would like to have a little more

Facilities was quiet low, I didn’t see any reception personal during the days and when had to ask for something I went to the Hyatt which related. I had to pay 12EURO(!!!) to use the gym! While asked for wake up call that didn’t happened and waited fo 25 minutes after the booked time for a taxi to airport although I ordered from Hyatt reception the day before and explained the rush.

A very good value, this property is part of the Hyatt Regency. The gym is top notch. Nice pool. The staff was very helpful. The food was not very good and it is in an area with few choices nearby. The suite was spacious and clean, included a mini-kitchen, and the towels and other amenities were good quality. The property is showing its age and could use a refresh.

Reminded me of The Eagles song, Hotel California (Barcelona) This property was TIRED!! it's hidden behind an industrial storefront and next to a closed Hyatt tower. The pictures on Expedia must be from a long time ago OR "it was rode hard and put away wet". Got to our room and toilet was broken. Furniture and curtains very worn. Changed rooms, toilets worked but furnishing very worn Bed and bath clean! One highlight was the Maria at reception. She was delightful and very helpful w checkin, changing rooms and helping us w taxi service. Thank you Maria.

The website should disclose that the suites are in a separate building and in order to use Hotel facilities (pictured in the hotel website and hotels.com) guests have to pay extra. This is not fun to find out.

It's NEXT door to the actual hotel, I choose it because of the indoor pool for my kids. Kids were not allowed in the pool since it's a 'private' club. Booked 2 rooms, instead of being next to each other they were on the opposite side of the floor.

Definitely not five star facilities or service. We booked a two bedroom apartment but reception initially tried to give us one bedroom and a sofa bed. After a long wait in the temporary reception area (they were rebuilding the main one) we got our two bedroom apartment. It was a nice size but had a number of issues. The shower screen on bath lacked a sealing strip so water poured all over the bathroom floor, making it unhygienic and slippery. A large marble skirting tile fell off the wall in the bedroom and needed to be repaired. Worse, the large window in the living room didn't lock or even shut properly and couldn't even be repaired (the hotel knew about this already but hadn't or couldn't fix it), leading to security worries (we were on first floor). Although it was supposed to be self catering, they provided very limited utensils and cooking facilities, (e g. no oven for pizzas, two small electric rings that couldn't be used at same time, no colander or sieve, partner burnt hands trying to drain pasta and there wasn't even a draining rack to dry plates, etc. The staff on the reception desk seemed pretty disengaged from our issues and complaints. When we checked out they said " will tell the manager" not heard back. I had my purse pickpocketed on the Metro and again, the staff seemed very unengaged, offering no sympathy, support or help when I mentioned this at check out. The main hotel reception was a mess a buildingsite plus dull NYE no bar or atmosphere there at all.

A perfect stay
Excellent service from a well staffed hotel. Great buffet breakfast. Good night’s sleep at a comfortable room temperature. Only slight downside was having to pay €25 for parking, but the cost of the suite was less than average so the result was still a good deal. Easy access from motorway and simple 8 minute drive to airport made it a perfect stay.

Ad on Expedia said free bus shuttle by Hesperia, I asked Expedia to also send the hotel an email on my bed to have the shuttle schedule me for pick up at 12am the 12th of Sept, in turn the front desk night shift or day shift did not find my itinerary for my extra day reservation now starting on Sept 12th ( instead of originally Sept 13th...So I had to show the Hesperia hotel my Email confirmation to prove that I had a reservation for the 12th..the safe needed fixing,the night staff very good,day shift not so good.. breakfast was continental style not as expected a full Coates meal with eggs,& Ect..My rating is a D, location good but hotel is over priced but competitive in Barcelona's hotel..I was going to place a reservation with Best Western airport because they indeed have a free airport shuttle service.if I would have known Hersperia didn't have a shuttle service I would have never made a reservation with them! I think I need to be reimbursed for my inconvenience by Hersperia /Exped

do not stay in the here. it is 30 mins drive away from the main Barcelona which is about 30 euros one way via taxi. the apartment they gave me wasn't even great lights and AC not working. the cards access to the buildings don't work and they didn't even have my room in the main hotel but a block next to the main hotel. very big rip of. stay away from here

Stayed in the apartment rooms next door to the hotel which is convenient for extended stays. Did not stay nor see the hotel rooms so can't say much about that side. Check-in is at the hotel building front desk for the apartments as well. The problem is that it's through one specific computer for handling apartment rooms. Any computer at the front desk should be able to access and manage the apartment rooms check-in/check out. This is especially important when guests are intending to check into the hotel rooms and apartments at the same time. Service was friendly, breakfast and staff was satisfactory. Recommend installing a minimum of two USB connections in each apartment room for guests, as tourists from countries all over the world stay here and visit Barcelona and USB ports are a universal friendly design for recharging mobile electronic devices (earphones, mobile phones, tablets, laptops, etc). Also, highly recommend replacing the current curtains with black out shades in the apartment rooms as well. Overall a great stay.

Check in is confusing as there are many different properties with the same check in. To clarify there is NOT a pool nor is there an airport shuttle. There is a nearby indoor pool that you can pay $12/day but the amenities listed on expedia are inaccurate.
