Great location, convenient for exploring the city.

Posted Aug 25, 2017
Pros: Good sized well equipped apartment, friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Ideal for our break.
Cons: Nothing that can be controlled by the hotel.
Location: A few minutes walk from the city centre, the cathedral and the old town. interesting architecture, monuments and modern statues. Fantastic food.
Stayed for 5 days here for a family wedding. The hotel was in a great location, a few minutes walk from the city centre, monuments, restaurants and places of interest. There are plenty of bars and coffee shops serving breakfast, tapas and snacks close to the hotel. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Three of us stayed. I had a double sofa bed in the living area, that worked out fine, as there was a separate kitchen and hallway so there was no need for others to traipse through my sleeping area. The hotel is situated close to a busy main road so there is constant traffic noise. This did not bother us, as we were out all day returning late at night.

Good Oviedo Option

Posted Jun 6, 2017 on Hotels
Very happy with the hotel in terms of location, just a short walk to Gascona but close enough to the motorway to get out of The City. The parking garage was handy although always frustrating to have additional expense. It was a nice hotel and the windows were welcome, although there was some traffic noise. Air con would have been preferred. The beds were comfortable but unfortunately the sofa bed was not- this would be the only thing preventing me from returning.

Great city centre hotel

Posted Oct 25, 2016 on Ebookers
Pros: Location and comfortable large beds
Cons: Felt pads put on feet of tables and chairs. Very noisy from when being moved by the room above.
Location: Cathedral, Cidre drinking, tapas, shopping easy bus journey to Gijon to the beaches and harbour
Good location. Within 5 mins walk from Cathedral, theatre and other main attractions. However it is a steep uphill walk to attraction so may not suit those with mobility issues. Accommodation clean and nice large bed. Good cooking facilities (need to ask at reception for a kettle and toaster)

Cons: The WiFi is 50/50, my phone was no problem but my laptop could not get a signal in the room, but was okay in the corridoor.
The hotel is at the end of the motorway, and just a five minutes walk from the cathedral etc. We shared an apartment that consists of double room, living room and small kitchen . There is a daily cleaning and laundry service. Alsa buses into town stop to drop off about 50M down the road from the hotel, you will need to go to the bus station to leave though.

Business trip with family in tow

This is perfect if you want a little more space and the option to keep/ make food for yourself. It was an easy walk to the center and nearby parks. The staff was very helpful with our questions and requests.

Convenient.

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: See above
Cons: See above
Location: Explore the old town Walk up the Naranco hill to see the Romanesque churches. Enjoy the local food, "menu del dia" and the many patisseries.
Located at the edge of the town centre, easy to reach from the motorway coming from the airport, 15 minutes walk from the rail and coach stations. Apartments at the back of the building are quieter than those facing the main road. Wifi is free and works OK. When using facetime I was cut off several times. The rooms are cleaned well daily, but bizarrely the cleaning the cooking facilities is responsibility of the guests. The kitchen does the job but crockery and cutlery needs updating. The light in the microwaves didn't work. The cooking facilities are convinient for guests that cannot follow the meal hours of most of the local restaurants (2pm to 4 pm for lunch and 9pm to 11.30 for super) Pleasent room. Studio size consists os double bed, table, two chairs, kitchen and bathroom, no sofa. Windows are large and can be opened. Comfortable bed and good bedside lighting. Good quality bed linen and towels. Well appointed bathroom. Toiletries provided are very basic. Reception service varies, some very diligent, some in need of customer service training.

Needs a refresh, but great location

Posted Jan 6, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: Kitchen
The aparthotel is locate in Oviedo entrance, and it's conveniently located, just steps from the "calle de la Sidra', and the cathedral. However, its apartments need a refresh, especially the kitchen, that dark and outdated.
