Perfect getaway with lovely hosts
We couldn’t be happier with our stay. Paula was a lovely host who made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. With easy access to beautiful beaches, great restaurants and lovely hiking, what more could a family want?

A lovely place in quaint Malpica, La Coruna Province, Portugal
This is a lovely penthouse apartment right next to the beach in Malpica, a very steep, hilly and quaint village. We were surprised with little extras like coffee, tea cakes and were welcomed by a wonderful lady, Paula. She was on hand to greet us and gave us some insights to the village. Everything was quite new and a building elevator ride down to the garage leads you to sky-blue waters of a lovely beach. Little cafes dot the boardwalk and there is a boat marina just on the other side of the peninsula. As seniors, the futon bed in the master bedroom was a little difficult to manage but after a couple of days, we got the hang of it. There is parking in an underground garage. But, BEWARE, get an exact map to the building as it was quite difficult to find. Even the residents who live on the street did not know the building or street address. Thank you, Carlos, for a wonderful time....!!

Wenn das Wetter gut ist, ist schon mal alles besser. Das Wetter war sehr gut.
Die Wohnung hat zwei Schlafzimmer, einen Wohnraum eine kleine Terrasse mit seitlichen Meerblick. Sie ist funktional und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und maximal für 4 Personen (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) eingerichtet. Ein wenig mehr Geschirr wäre schön. Der Gastgeber und Signora Theresa kümmern sich fürsorglich um die ankommenden Gäste und sogar für das Frühstück am folgenden Tag war bereits gesorgt. Wenn es Probleme gibt, wird hervorragend unterstützt. Malpica selbst ist ein kleines Städtchen mit Strand und Fischerereihafen, das sich einige archtektonische Sünden leistet; einen Schönheitspreis wird es nicht bekommen; die Lage und die Umgebung sind in Ordnung.Geschäfte und Restaurants sind vorhanden. Es ist touristisch zwar erschlossen, aber der internationale Tourismus geht wohl weitgehend an Malpica vorbei.

Modern und zweckmäßig eingerichtete Penthouse-Wohnung.
Die Wohnung war sauber und gemütlich, allerdings war das Futon-Bett recht gewöhnungsbedürftig. Wir wurden von Teresa ausgesprochen freundlich empfangen. Alles war vorbereitet, die Betten frisch bezogen und die Lebensmittel für das Frühstück am den nächsten Tag bereits eingekauft. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf das Meer und die Umgebung. Das Haus liegt wenige Meter vom Strand. Geschäfte und Hafen sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Es war eine schöne Zeit. Mucias Gratias.
