Very nice hotel but a bit far from downtown

Posted Aug 17, 2017
Stayed 4 nights. Excellent service. Very nice full size pool with bar service. Rooms are a good size and bed was comfortable. Plenty of good quality towels, bathrobe and slippers. Would have benefitted from a larger relaxation chair.

Convenient hotel on the edge of Lyon

Posted Jul 30, 2017
By the river with lovely walk to the old town. Breakfast 20euro. However noulangerie 2 mins walk away with croissant etc as well as foods for lunch. Tennis courts great, but is 10 Euro extra for an hour.

Incredible

Posted Jun 3, 2017
Pros: The pool is an Olympic size and has heaps of room. I do think that children should be kept to the shallower end of the pool.
Cons: Nothing it has it all.
Location: Perfect for old Lyon.
The hotel and spa is a beautiful clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. There are 2 places to have breakfast, pick the one on the 1st floor in the main building not the separate building. One is like a canteen at school with limited choice and the other has the best breakfast I have probably ever had and I travel an awful lot.

Overall good experience

Posted Mar 17, 2017 on Hotels
I truly enjoyed the hotel and spa as well as the proposed fitness activities. The only inconvenience was the distance from the city centre and also traveling to the city centre as there is only 1 bus from the hotel which comes every half hour.

Facilities good but wifi very poor

Posted Feb 27, 2017
Pros: Facilities other than wifi.
Cons: Wifi. Restaurant food.
Location: Location is not central. No restaurants in the vicinity, hotel restaurant variable.
The hotel has good facilities including an indoor pool and gym but the wifi is very slow and keeps disconnecting. This can be very frustrating if one is trying to send even small attachments e.g. 100kb by email. FaceTime is near impossible and even voice calls are intermittent. Restaurant food quality is hit and miss.

The hotel itself was good, but the food & drinks were only ok but very expensive , €10 For one paint of Heineken larger. The food in the restaurant in the evening was expensive & very limited in choice. I would look to book a hotel near the main bars & restaurants if I travel to Lyon again. The bus tram & underground is very good, taxi are very expensive € 70 from airport To the hotel it's about 35 mins drive, around. 1.5 hours on public transport this would cost around only €4 per person. The people in Lyon are very friendly & helpful.
