We stay here regularly in route to MN, easy off / on highway. Staff is always welcoming, light food options /bar on site, morning breakfast available and service / quality of our stay is always consistent. Parking is convenient and plenty of stores / restaurants / gas stations close by.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, clean, close to lots of restaurants and shopping. They even have an outdoor fireplace to enjoy. Bar is in the basement which is odd but we enjoyed a few drinks and played some pool. Quiet rooms and comfy beds. Price was right too! Will stay again!!

The food in the bar was very bad. The chicken wings were completely burnt and mozzarella sticks were overcooked.

Pretty average stay. Room was clean. Could use more complementary items like lotion or face wash which weren’t provided. Breakfast was decent. King suites have a nice deck and view.

Our second time staying here. Pool wasn't as warm as last time and needed a cleaning, but we enjoyed the hot tub. The rooms were spotless! Very nice place!

It was a cute place. Has a rustic theme. The beds were clean and comfortable. There was some dust around the room that should have been cleaned. But overall the room was decent. It has a nice hot tub, but the pool was ice cold. The breakfast was real nice.

My stay here was spectacular I loved everything about it! It feels like a ski lodge. My only complaints as to why I didn’t give it 5 stars across the board are: pool was ice cold couldn’t of been more than 10*f maybe investing into making it a heated pool could make it a more enjoyable experience. The hot tub had stuff (dirt&grime) caked on the floor also the hot tub temp was a bit high couldn’t really sit in for very long. We got a room with a jacuzzi which was awesome but it looked like it hadn’t been used or cleaned in a while, while using it place particles were swirling around my guess it was mold from the jets, the room was superb besides that.

Our first room was in far building. I had recently had back surgery and it was all but impossible to walk this. Check in person did not indicate how far I would have to walk. Further than any hotel ever. However when we finally got there with 3 stops to rest on suitcase, our key card didn’t work. My husband walked to desk and got another key. It also didn’t work. Clerk walked back with my husband. She opened and I went in with luggage and promptly plopped into bed. She said something about needing to charge key pad and she would we back. She came back and said we needed to move. Another long walk my body was not ready to do. Wanted to wash up. Honestly it took 5 minutes for water to become more than Luke warm. In evening we let shower run for more than 10 minutes. It never got warm enough to stay in there longer than was absolutely necessary. Only my husband showered as it never warmed up for me. There is no deadbolt which we expected. An opportunity to relax and enjoy the night and my body is still hurting from that long unnecessary walk one day later.

I liked the warm decor, warm water, good bath& hair products. Great breakfast in roomy comfortable tables. I liked the token for a freebie from their pantry! My room Kuerig coffee maker did not work. I forgot to tell the lady at the front desk!

First impressions mean everything, the entrance doors were so filthy you couldn't see, the customer service girl has an attitude and wasn't very helpful or friendly.

The pool was very cold and our bed was very soft. The staff was very kind. We had rented two rooms and requested 1 be handicap, this request was not granted but we understand there are only so many.

The hotel itself is FANTASTIC!!!! The problem i had was.........I reserved 2 rooms well in advance through Travelocity/Expedia........NO rooms were reserved for me!!!! Very disappointing unfortunately!!!!!!

Hotel room was not very clean..alot of dust and dirt in corners...hotel was very noisy but thst was because there were 5 teams staying there. Staff was friendly...breakfast was ok..overall the hotel needs updating wall paper coming off dirty decore and dirty rooms...

Room was large and quite. Pool was extremely cold on the day of our check in, but was warm our second day. Could have used a good cleaning. Breakfast was average for a continental breakfast. On our first morning at about 8:45 the hot food was pretty much gone. The staff was very accommodating.

I wasn't expecting much because we stayed at the Wausau location in the past, and it wasn't the best experience. Yet, this is a very nice hotel. Everything was definitely clean and the front desk lady was very nice. The pool area is clean. There is a nice big hot tub for the parent and the outdoor/indoor pool is really nice for the kids. There are a lot of large themed seating areas throughout the hotel. I would stay here again.

Have stayed here multiple times and it’s always good. Just a note for travelers, it’s a family place and sometimes the kiddos might get louder in the halls - kids being kids. My only dislike is some of the rooms are starting to show their age in areas where the ceiling and the walls meet and the mudding tape is separating. Doesn’t impact the stay but is a tad unappealing. Otherwise, a totally great spot to stay, would return again and again.

Stoney creek is in a convenient area. Nice hotel, friendly staff. The only complaint would be the noise level in the hotel. You can hear everything through the walls. Would definitely stay again!

The property is a rustic setting which is nice. The staff are wonderful and super friendly. Our room, however wasn’t great. The bed was terrible (I ended up sleeping in the floor or not sleeping at all). There was mold in the bathroom and the floor tiles were lifting in the bathroom. We had the shower water in the hottest setting and got a warm shower. The staff did offer a different room and we opted to not move because all the beds are the same. It wasn’t a place I’d spend $325 again.
