The staff is incredible, and the hotel is very clean and comfortable. At the spa we had a wonderful service, specially thanks to the Lady named Madday. At the restaurant, we tried Ceviche Tilapia, it was a great option for dinner, it was fresh and delicious, and also the Chef prepared the "patacones" we ask for as side dish for the Ceviche, even though it was not listed in the menu. Love the hot springs!

This place is awesome! Great view from balcony! The breakfast, hot tub, …, everything is amazing! Definitely would stay here again for next trip to la Fortuna!!

I booked this hotel because it listed having 4 hot tubs. I think their heating system was broken because all four were not even tepid. The last day of our 4 days, the water in 2 of them was warm, but certainly not hot. In la Fortuna area, one would expect thermal hot spring temperature if the hotel is calling itself a spa. Beautiful pool and grounds, wonderful breakfast, and very nice people working at the hotel.

The hotel was well laid out and the staff provided excellent service. The housekeeping was excellent and the room was nice and spacious. We used the Spa which was staffed by experienced and trained employees. The only issue was the food prices which was over priced similar to most places we visited in Costa Rica. The dining charges were roughly two times what we would get in the US though the overall cost of goods/services would be half or less.

what a beautiful property. it's like staying in a tropical forest. the landscaping and animals you see are so beautiful. The staff is just wonderful and attentive. We loved staying here and would stay again anytime.

Great location and some of the staff was very helpful (booking for a spa and thermal springs). Breakfast was mediocre. There is no storage/ shelf space in the bedroom (deluxe room with 2 double beds). Also, the staff was unable to provide enough hangers (room had 4 and I asked for 8 more and they could only provide 4)

This was a great hotel to stay at during our vacation in La Fortuna! It was nearby everything. The hotel itself was clean, had beautiful landscaping, the rooms were great, and I loved the pool area and all the hidden pools around the hotel. I also really enjoyed getting a message, it was so relaxing and a neat experience getting to do it outside and listen to the sounds of nature. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the La Fortuna area! The staff was great at communicating and great at answering all of our questions.

Property is conveniently located, quiet and beautiful. Front desk staff was very helpful. On-site restaurant was good enough to be a backup. BUT room was very very uncomfortable due to thoughtless design. Climate being so wet and humid all the time requires certain minimum practicalities in the room, which it totally lacked. For example: absolutely no hooks in the room anywhere to hang rain jackets or wet towels. No exhaust fan in bathroom. No ceiling fan in the room. No storage in the room for anything, not even enough floor space to accommodate two check-in bags. Room seems designed as a crash pad for 8-hrs sleep and that's about it. Total fail imo.

Area was ok. Views of volcano not so great due to the overgrown trees. Wildlife (birds) very nice. Getting rides such as taxi or Uber very slow. So many cancellations when trying to get. Overall just ok for us.

This hotel truly exceeded our expectations! Its breathtaking location, right in front of the majestic Arenal volcano, added to the overall charm. The rooms were all equipped with air conditioning, a welcome relief from the La Fortuna humidity. I must highlight the exceptional service provided by Karen, the friendly and helpful staff member in the lobby. Her valuable recommendations for local food and tours greatly enhanced our experience. If you ever find yourself in La Fortuna, I recommend choosing this wonderful hotel.

We really enjoyed a Casa Luna. The grounds are gorgeous! We had our own balcony that looked out into the grounds and allowed us to see the volcano. The pool was also beautiful and there was a nice walk around the grounds. The people were super kind at the restaurant, front desk and spa. The guy at the front desk helped us with tours and setting up a massage and a ride to town. The tour they connected us to was very reasonably priced (better than the pricing we received somewhere else). We also did a couples massage package that included a massage and facial each plus a bottle of wine on grounds of the hotel. It looked out into the rainforest and was absolutely spectacular. We higgly recommend Casa Luna!

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is really only one restaurant, so options are limited. You can pay for shuttle service to town or other local restaurants that was very easy to do with app.

Had a lovely stay at Casa Luna with my husband in the area of La Fortuna. It was our first time in Cost Rica and the staff was friendly, eager, and patiently answered any questions. Stuarth was usually at the front desk during our stay and had great suggestions of what to do and where to go. He organized all our excursions on different days. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The staff and restaurant was great!!! Was disappointed in the room. Wifi does not work in the rooms, but we were the farthest room from main office. There was only a single overhead light, no bedside lamps or lights. There needs to be shades on the windows as the morning light comes in so early in Costa Rica. Beds were not comfortable. If the hotel would add some toppers to the beds and throw in some small lamps for the bedside, the rooms would be improved. We did not use the pool or the hot tubs, as we were using the natural hot springs in the area.

My family and I stayed at this property for two evenings and we found it so charming. It is a five minute walk from Playa de Hermosa. We went around 9 am in the morning and it was like we had the beach to ourselves. The hotel has a nice pool with sun chairs if the beach is not your scene. There is a beautiful restaurant on the property if you want to stay in and eat. The room had great AC, enough space for the four of us to sprawl out, a fridge, a table, and a well-lit bathroom. The free breakfast was also a great perk! Overall, I would stay here again!

Lovely setting with very pretty gardens and lots of birds to watch, plus a nature trail - we saw frogs and lizards too. Nice pool and spacious rooms. The reception staff are super-helpful and friendly. the breakfast was probably the only thing that let it down as very average and a weird requirement to share fruit (although they did bring more when we asked). I would definitely recommend this property as we had a very relaxing and pleasant time there.
