Pleasant hotelPosted Oct 15, 2017
Pros: Location, peace and quiet and friendly staff.
Cons: Decor needs updating in the bedrooms.
Location: The location is excellent offering total peace and great restaurants. It's good to relax on a quiet island after the busy tourist spots of the city.
This is our third stay and once again everything was of a high standard. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the staff first class. It's lovely and quiet and a great place to relax after the busy tourist spots. If I was going to be slightly negative the rooms are a little tired decor wise, we first visited over fifteen years ago and the decor is still the same. This wouldn't stop us from highly recommending the hotel.

Pleasant small hotel on Guidecca island.Posted Sep 25, 2017
Pros: Staff were really friendly and attentive. Comfortable clean room. Great location. A lovely tranquil setting.
Cons: It does not have great wi fi in the ground floor rooms.
Location: Guidecca was charming. It feels quite unspoiled and there are not hordes of tourists. Lots of great restaurants. Frequent vaparetto service.
The hotel staff were very helpful, even providing clear instructions on how to get there. My room was clean, comfortable and overlooked the canal. Blissfully quiet. Had air conditioning which I didn't need at that time of year. Breakfast had a good choice of continental buffet items. Lots of good restaurants on Guidecca where you could eat well and relatively cheaply. Easy and frequent vaporetto service to main part of city.

It is a nice hotel close to the Palanca stop.,Posted Sep 25, 2017
Pros: It was convenient, close to my brother's apartment and close to the Palanca stop. A lot of my friends also lived close to that hotel.. The staff was
Location: There art studios,, stores, a lot of great restaurants, churches
When I stayed at that hotel in July of 2015 I had a wonderful room with a double bed, however this time I got a twin size bed room like a dorm room and the shower in the room had water running all over the floor. They then moved me to another room with a proper shower but the room was still so small that I could barely move around in the room. It was still as small as a dorm room with a twin size bed. It seems as though they changed the name of the hotel from Domina Home and made the rooms smaller.

A Lovely Little HotelPosted Sep 20, 2017
Cons: The breakfast could be a bit more varied but not something i really feel strongly about
Location: Very close to the water bus stop and next to the water bus stop is a truly great local bar which has fabulous views of the city and a good prices.
Not in the centre of Venice but so close to a water bus stop that it really makes no difference in terms of accessing the city during the day. Very friendly staff and comfortable room. Highly recommended.

Nice Hotel but smallPosted Sep 5, 2017
Nice Hotel but small. The pictures lead us to believe that the hotel and rooms were bigger so a little disapointing. Bur over all, the service was good and after getting over the size we were happy there.

Great hotel!Posted Aug 24, 2017
Pros: Its situation on a quite island
Good hotel away from the bustle of Venice. Staff are incredibly helpful. The restaurants are great on the Island especially Mayer. All have views across the canal towards Venice and they are cheaper! Get yourself a canal view if you book here as its worth the extra money!

Great place to stay away from the crowdsPosted Aug 21, 2017
Cons: There is a bar fridge in the room but perhaps tea/coffee facilities would be good as well
This was our last stop in a tour of Italy and it was ideal to relax and unwind before travelling home. Giudecca is just a short water bus ride away from the main attractions on the main island and once you have done your gondola ride and seen the sights it's really nice to get back away from the crowds. The hotel is very clean and the staff always smiling and very helpful. There is a great little bar with really good prices to come back to after a meal at one of the many restaurants on the island or perhaps a coffee during the day.
