Disappointed in dining options. Facilities were reduced from prior visits so we were confronted with eating Mexican cuisine. We did not, and you lost revenue. Housekeeping was lesss than expected (see below).
Even though the hotel is old construction and a bit worn around the edges, the room was large and comfortable and was in a wonderful location. Not fancy, but I would stay here again.
Loved our stay here. Central location in San Diego area. 5 mins from UCSD, very close to dining and shopping. Safe area where you can walk to lots of the above. Rooms are nice, serving Starbucks coffee in-room, with real half-n-half...these little things make me very happy. Restaurant on site, bar ...
We had an amazing experience during our stay. The receptionist Jazmin made sure that our stay in hotel was memorable and we will be looking forward to stay there whenever we visit San Diego and would highly recommend to our friends.
The hotel was very beautiful. The lady that checked us in was very unprofessional. Other than that one lady the hotel was wonderful. I didn't like that we had to pay for parking to stay at the hotel I think it should have been included with the room.
This is my third year staying here. The room could use updating, but the price is excellent and it is clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the room was not noisy, even though the property is right on La Jolla Blvd. Breakfast is included which is a plus. Also the staff is friendly ...
We stayed here for three days for our anniversary. We found it a great experience. There is an emphasis on golf, but we had a great time even doing nothing golf related. The building is about 7 years old but has been designed and built to seem like a beautiful, much older Scottish structure. The ...
We were warmly welcomed when we arrived and were able to check in a couple of hours early. Breakfast was included in the price and though not fancy, it was pretty good. The hotel is a five minute walk to a beautiful beach where we watched the waves and surfers. The hotel has a pool which we didn't ...
When I go anywhere out of town or just want to get away I stay at the Embassy. The Embassy has basically everything you need. The price might is not what people maybe looking for but I'd rather spend 40 more dollars to be comfortable and relaxed.
This was our second stay here, not as good as our first. Asked for partial ocean view and our room was 2 floors above the alley with lots of noise from restaurant fans, I think, and alley traffic. A bit disappointed. View of ocean still good. Last time, we were able to take advantage of their courtesy ...
Great looking modern decor, comfortable room and bed and a helpful friendly staff. The restaurant/bar is on the top floor with beautiful views and good food.
We loved our beachfront room! We could hear the waves all night long...very comfy bed - fabulous sleep. The property is classic, not luxurious but clean and nice. La Jolla Beach & Tennis club is steeped in tradition. There are so many things to do with kids. But the ocean is our favorite part of ...
