Excelent choice in the downtown of La Paz

Posted Aug 3, 2016
Pros: word of mouth
Location: A sunset walk in the Malecon is a must! Playas Coromuel, Pichilingue, Balandra and el Tecolote are qute close.
I was pleasantly surprised by the Hotel location right at the heart of La Paz, very close to the Malecon (comfortale walking distance) and at the same time not quite exposed to the commotion of other Hotels located right at the Pier. Staff was very friendly and professional throughout our whole stay and very efficient and accommodating. Rooms were nice and comfortable.

Great city hotel close to Malecon

Posted Feb 24, 2016
Pros: Nearly everything
Cons: See above
Location: Go to Espiritu Santo island.
Stayed there for 3 nights. The staff was great. They fully supplied us with as much bottled water than we needed. Small swimming pool that is not heated, but that's not why we are there. They also gave us a great exchange rate when we needed to convert dollars to pesos. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Nice and quiet. 2 to 3 quick blocks to the Malecon waterfront and great restaurants.

A Gem in the Center of La Paz

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: We wanted to stay in a place that was NOT exactly like another American hotel, but was clean and comfortable. Seven Crown was just what we wanted.
Cons: No improvements necessary
If you are looking for a pleasant, comfortable place to stay that has the true Mexican flavor of the Baja, Seven Crown La Paz Centro is the perfect place. It is just 3 blocks from the Malecon(seawalk) and is also close to the Whale Museum, the cathedral and many other local places of interest. It has a small bar open in the evenings and the cafe Casanova located at the hotel is a delightful spot to grab coffee and a dulce for breakfast or a sandwich or salad for lunch. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are not fancy, but the beds are comfortable, the air conditioning feels great on a hot Mexican day and the large, beautifully tiled showers are perfect.

Great service and excellent location!

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Close to entertainment and always a taxi waiting outside in case it was needed.
Location: Restaurant across the street and a supermarket or supermarcado, only one block away if you want to do some light shopping.
This hotel is comparable to any American hotel chain. Think La Quinta Inn or other 3 star places. They offer free Wi-Fi and although they don't offer free breakfast, they do have a little cafe on the premises and tons of very cute cafes within 5 minutes of the hotel. That's five minutes WALKING. The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to the entertainment and restaurants that line the Malecon. The staff was very helpful and spoke fluent English.

Good hotel, good price

It was good experience overall, the staff was friendly and attentive the cafeteria there was good, the only thing is that it was closed Sunday but luckily there is a cafe just a block away. But I definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay in La Paz

Nice and Clean

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness
We stayed here for five nights and enjoyed ourselves. The location is close enough to walk to the water yet far enough away to not deal with all the noise and traffic. It's not a resort so don't expect pool side drinks. But if you are looking for clean, comfortable and convenient- this is the place to stay.
