Nous étions les seuls hôtes lors de notre passage et nous avons partagé le dîner avec lui: amuses bouches au coeur de palmier et beurre de cacahuète accompagné de rhum arrangé, gratin de chouchou, poulet massale, riz, crevettes, gâteau au maïs... tout était copieux et succulent. "We truly loved the absolutely remote location of Diana Dea Lodge – it’s a peaceful hideaway surrounded by nature. That said, reaching the hotel is a bit of an adventure: the steep, winding road up requires some confidence, especially when navigating the occasional oncoming car in the dark.
The lodge itself is beautifully designed, with warm wooden interiors that create a cozy and natural feel. The atmosphere varied quite a bit during our stay – it was very quiet on weekdays, while the weekend...

"This was probably a one-off situation that could have been avoided with proper advance notice. In the week leading up to our arrival, we received three notifications asking us to check in and pay for our stay—this was confusing, as I had already paid. Once I replied stating that I would settle any remaining balance at check-in, the notifications stopped.
Upon arrival, it was clear the hotel was preparing to host a wedding. As a result, the restaurant—highly rated and one we had been looking...
