Worst experience ever

Pros: The beach was nice
Cons: The resort should be re organized and the staff needs training, whenever someone has a question they have 20 different answers. Sanitation.
Location: There is not much to do around
Upon arrival the front desk agent informed us that they did not have any rooms available and sent us to another resort. The front desk agent tried to alleviate the situation by making promises that later on they were not able to fulfill. The snack bar has several healthy hazards. Birds will eat and poop inside the buffet, the glasses were dirty and broken, the plates from the buffet were not properly washed; they were greasy and had food residues underneath. The food was not properly heated which makes the situation worst because it may cause food poisoning. When the manager was approached he just admitted the fault but did not do anything about it. The shower in my room had mold in it and the floor was dirty as well. We missed two days from out vacation due to the hotel being oversold and not ready on time. We booked an excursion; they were late and on top a guy named Celestine was arguing with the excursions sales rep and was treating guest with a bad attitude. I feel I should at least have my money back. It is a shame that Expedia is advertising a hotel like this.

Family friendly but not single friendly

Friendly staff but sometimes pushy to sell you their products. The entertainment is mediocre not much to do for nightlife if you are looking to party. Beach and pools close too early at 6pm. Security manager Rafael is rude and belittle had an issue with him. Air conditioner does not work. The room is poorly maintained. Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Food was out so birds would eat right there. I was stung by a bee the moment I entered which was very painful. Drinks were watered down unless you got beer. Would not stay at this resort again.

Nice hotel close to the beach.

Pros: Close to the beach and many selections of the food buffet.
Cons: The pants for men required at restaurants.Should be allowed to wear shorts in this tropical climate.More restrooms.
Location: Riding the electric bikes and the casino.
Food was very good and many activities at the hotel.There could have been more restrooms.Rooms could have been better maintained.Rooms were cleaned well.

"Welcome home"

This was THE worst hotel stay I've had. My friends and I saw pictures online before we booked our all inclusive stays. The pictures online only show the VIP section...when we arrived, greater with "welcome home" we quickly realized that our stay was not going to be as expected. The pool, beach and overal ascetic of the hotel were the only upside. All meals served were exactly the same food all three days. Our reserved dinners "Brazilian" and Mylos were huge letdowns. We were served the same food at the Brazilian restaurants, the only different was that they brought around meat. Mylos had us wait an hour and a half for our entrees which weren't eatable. The only highlight food wise was the Japanese restaurant. The service overall was terrible (only about five notable staff members). There is no "free wifi" as you only get an hour by the pool a day, and most of that time is spent loading content. The drinks were all one brand. My friend ordered a martini, and they brought out a bottle named martini. We had to haggle our way to get bottles that they hide. Very little about this hotel was enjoyable, and we couldn't wait to leave. Will not be coming back, or recommending be-live

nice beach

Pros: beach is the best, if you are young and like activities this is the resort for you
Cons: hotel rooms and more pleasant staff fridge was not filled every day
hotel need updates grounds nice and beach is beautiful staff could be more pleasant lots of activities big cons: we were tipping our maid but we were not happy because our fridge was not restock every day and we were getting only 3 towels

Hotel is old and run down. Staff is wonderful. Beach is great. And food is very good . rooms very lacking

Hotel of lost opportunities.

It would be perfect place for holiday just needs good management. Beautiful location, nice hotel just service. Room was never cleaned correctly, tables in restaurant very dirty, glasses dirty, beach seems to be never cleaned. Pool also needs cleaning more often. We stayed 8 days and only once have been lucky to book A La Carte restaurant. Main buffet restaurant dirty, food not bad but staff to busy on being on Facebook, they forget about clients. Overall hotel with big potential and lost opportunities.

Beautiful water and beach

Good place, I like that. I did not like just one thing!! Night party. Thay play only one style of music (bachata,salsa) Beast music for patty at night they used during a day. Would like to see at night some popular music(R&B,Hop,dance,house,electro)

Love it!

I really enjoyed my time at this Resort. A friend of mine recommended it to me, so I gave it a try and it was worth it. The staff is super friendly, loved the pool and of course the beach, food was great. I loved the fact that the snack bar is open until 4am. As a Dominican I loved the hispanic music of the club. The ONLY thing I didnt like was that its a smoke free environment and I didnt know. But other than that everything else was great.

Worst hotel chain!!!!

This was our 7th time vacationing in DR. My family and I fell in love with the ppl of DR on our very 1st time. This was our 2nd worst experience in DR. 1st worst time was also a Be Live but located in Puerta Plata. This hotel chain is not even worth 1 single star. All the employees are so miserable and so disrespectful. The hotel is so disorganized. We stayed a wk and we went into only 1 employee that had a smile for us and actually happy to see us. We don't usually expect too much with the food at resorts but this hotel served the same boring food day after day after day after day. I did have the best laugh with the manager of the VIP section. He was trying to get us to join the VIP membership and we told him that it was our 2nd time staying at a Be Live and both times we are not happy with the service of the hotel. The manager told me that we get what we paid for. So does this mean that during staff meetings, the employees are told not to smile and be nice to the guests because we didn't pay enough for our trip? He gave me the best laugh.
