Pros: Nothing
The room was dirty from the floors to the windows to the mirrors. Almost like the "extended stay" resident just left for a night. Yuck!

A home away from home

Pros: Close to highway, close to subway and close to some stores.
Cons: Room Service is a plus, Continental Breakfast
Location: Location was great. Close to stores, close to subway (10 minutes away by taxi). Also Chinese district and many stores (by taxi). Catholic Church near.
My wife and I arrived early at 10am and check in was not till 3pm. Extended Stay America New York City was gracious enough to hold our luggage while we went into New York to visit site seeing locations. Hotel was close to Main-Flushing Subway which saved us a lot of cash. The young lady that is charge between 8am and 4pm was VERY helpful and if I was to return to the hotel it would be because of her. Room service was poor. Our room was not cleaned till we left. No clean towels and no bed made. Trash also piled up in room. Continental breakfast was sad. One morning they had some pastries and another morning just granola bars. They had (make your own) oatmeal BUT no spoons. There are stores (Target, Old Navy, McDonalds and Starbucks) around the corner and a Catholic church up the street. It was close to the highway as well. If you visit New York the subway is the only way and cheapest way to visit Time Square and Memorial. Overall it was a pleasant stay but would not rate it as excellent.

Fire alarm went off and they're trying to charge me $250 and fire alarm is connected to 7 different rooms it wasn't me

Too expensive hotel

Cons: Major improvements to all areas of the hotel
First of all, I chose this hotel as it seems night on the pictures and the description and the price was not bad. However, when we got there, the hotel is in need of a major renovation, rooms are outdated and need a better cleaning and make sure they get rids of bugs. The one thing that may me write this review is the fact that they advertise "Free breakfast" and all you get is Coffee and some old muffins, which I don't consider breakfast, they don't even give you toasts. I would not be staying there again.

Close to LGA

Pros: Price
Cons: Enforcement of the no-smoking policy
Location: Near Laguardia Airport
Hotel was O.K. Smoking was allegedly not allowed at the hotel, but the hallways smelled really bad of cigarette smoke. My first stay here was not as bad as the second. I will not be staying here again. I would rather pay a little more money for a better quality stay at another hotel.

Mediocre hotel

Room smelled. Could hear other guests yelling at each other. Casual longer term guests walked to the lobby in their socks. Is relatively close to LaGuardia airport. Coming off the highway it is tough to get over to the parking lot entrance so be very careful driving. On edge of an industrial park so nothing much to walk to.

Not close to airport at all

Smell of the hallways were horrible...breakfast was not even continental, it was coffee and muffins on a table. The towels were dirty, it was just a mess. Some of the hotel staff had an attitude when asked to be transported to the airport to get to the city quicker. I am assuming airport shuttle is only used for arrival/departure for flight, but was not inform to us when we booked. It was an overall mess. Would not recommend if you there for the city of New York.

Not worth the money paid

Had to wait almost 20 mins to check in after midnight because of a computer issue. Both Vending machines not working Complimentary breakfast very disappointing I was not informed that if staying 6 days or less that there was no room service. They charge 10 dollars per night for parking while resurfacing the parking lot. Parking was a challenge. WiFi only worked one of the 5 nights stayed. Not worth the money I paid. I won't stay there again. Very disappointed

Bathtub in first assigned room was dirty...either drainage backup or vomit. Hard to tell which was the actual cause due to dingy yellow speckled bathroom fixtures. Desk clerk changed room but did not offer any sort of explanation or apology. Very disappointing.
