Pros: See Experiences.
Cons: See Experiences
Location: See Experiences
Near interstate. Excellent (free) breakfast. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Staff was friendly. Allowed us a two hour late check-out on a Saturday at 1:00 PM. We needed a place to stay late before attending a wedding at nearby church. Near many good restaurants. Go to Pier 51 excellent food, good variety and good prices.

The outside of the hotel is deceiving. The paint and appearance is in need of maintenance, but the room was nice and up to date. I've stayed in hotels $40 more expensive that were the opposite.

Ok for the price

Posted Sep 23, 2017
Room itself was clean, however the bed was a bit uncomfortable and the pillows they use are very small. There were also other tenants who were hanging out on the outside balcony making a lot of noise. Not the hotels fault but still made it difficult to relax and sleep. Overall it was an ok stay. Good for one night but not the best for multiple nights

Nice Hotel in New Orleans

Posted Sep 15, 2017
Pros: Staff was very courteous and cooperative most of the time.
Cons: Better refrigerators and Maids need to learn how to clean room thoroughly besides replacing laundry.
Location: Did not notice. Stayed in Laplace, Louisiana
* No elevators (if you are older, etc., and have heavy luggage you are on your own). You can only access your upstairs room from outside. * Complained to staff that Maid did not clean room sufficiently. - Bed was made up very lousy.... - Feces was left in toilet stool. - Towels and rags were not replaced one night. Cleaning was so bad on afternoon that the customer took pictures after cleaning to show staff. The pictures were taken because the Maids were provided $10.00 Tips the first day in conjunction w/$2.00 every day. * Initially could not make calls. Learned later that you have to contact the staff to activate the telephone. Some Hotels are like that however. * Initially, the customer found that the refrigerator knob was off so could not tell how to set temperature. After complaint, the staff had the maintenances immediately replaced the knob but it was turning freely 360 degrees therefore you still could not gage temperature. In addition, the food was still warm after the knob replacement and adjustment. Maintenance finally replaced the whole refrigerator and the food kept reasonable cold thereafter, however the ice cream kept in the freezer was just mush. * The customer never works out for fitness but it was noticed that the fitness room is not open 24 hours. Closes as 10:00 PM. At the better Hotels the fitness room is open 24 hours possibly. Staff courteous.

I had to wait 3 hours to get checked in! I was told it was a problem with the expedia credit card declining since it is a third party payment. After 3 hours the person at the front desk name Cassandra decided to pull up my information on the computer. After looking at it for about 1 minute she figured out the mistake and realized it was a pet fee I had to pay of 20 dollars that I had told her as soon as I walked into the hotel for check in and about another 2 times after that. Throught the 3 hours she had me on the phone trying to contact expedia blaming everything on them when she could have took 1 minute to review my booking but she didn't and made me wait 3 hours!

Get what you pay for

The bed sheets was still damp, the iron board was broke and the iron had old caked up dust on it, the night stands had smeared stuff all over them, looked like cleaning person took an old wet dirty mop and wiped em down, sewage smell coming from somewhere, cold water wasn't even that cold almost Luke warm, paid 62 bucks and had a good breakfast I must say, Next time I will stay more upscale. Just saying, you get what you pay for. I should have took pictures, I was tired.
