Close to country club mall,Frostburg state univ.

Very convenient to shopping mall as well as Frostburg state university.cumberland is 6 miles away.Guest needs security.there is no security camera.one entrance on the right is very isolated. Other thing is fine.Microwave was rusted and it did not work.

So Sorry to hear microwave didn't work. We gladly would have given you another. I'll get with housekeeping staff and have them turning on microwaves on to make sure they work before guest get to their rooms. We do have 2 ways into the building but only one elevator .

Pleasant surprise

Pros: price, location, quiet
Cons: A more attractive entrance.
Location: Close to mall, restaurants, grocery, theater
Initial impression of the exterior was negative. However, the room was clean and comfortable and this was the quietest hotel we have encountered in a long time. Well managed and certainly the best value for the dollar. Very convenient location.

Thank you so much for your comments. We try very hard to make the inside of the hotel look inviting due to the outside looking old. We try to keep prices low due to we are a budget hotel and we realize we need to do some work to the place. glad you had a quiet stay.

What is going on?

The clerk at the desk couldn't have been more pleasant. We took the cigarette smelling elevator to the third floor. We passed a room with the door open that appeared to be a makeshift daycare center. I couldn't believe the amount of items in there-stacked to the ceiling like one of those "hoarder" shows. The room was adequate, although there was a bright light shining directly in the window. There were other rooms facing the parking lot that had bags of what appeared to be garbage outside, and some people sitting out there just watching. The other stairwell to the outside had no locking feature.It was sometimes populated by people smoking. This could have been a cover set for a zombie movie.

Sir we do have some people staying here and have been for a little while if its the room that I'm thinking off that room is very clean they are a family of 5 so yes they have a lot of stuff but the mom keeps it very together. My employees do sit out back to smoke cause we got to be able to hear the phone and the door bell i can tel them to make sure that window is closed to elevator and to make sure they spray the elevator room after they are smoking. The smoking is a everyday battle with the guest. We have a no smoking sign in the elevator room but still have problems. i will get with my housekeeping staff and have them help me keep the elevator room more refreshed.

the room was ok but in the morning there wasn't any coffee makers in the room,and they didn't have anyplace had to leave the hotel to get coffee not cool!!!

I'm very sorry about the coffee but we don't offer them in the rooms. we do have a room that we serve coffee in the front desk should have been able to help you with that. It's from 6-10 in the morning and i have made sure that for late arrivals that we still have coffee due do a guest bringing that to my attention. Once again i'm very sorry i can also add that to the check in employee to let guest know we serve coffee in the room right next to us

very disappointing in motel it is not being maintained very well motel staff very good there are defiantly no frills here just a bed and shower

sorry you were disappointed in the building i will get with the owner and see how we can make the building better. with being a budget hotel this allows us to keep our rate lower and doesn't allow for much more, but i'll get with the owner to see maybe if we can add something

Room smelled like smoke, and AC unit was very loud. Confusing instructions relation to confirmation and reminder email. Confirmation email said Roadway Inn. Reminder email said Econo Lodge.

I'm very sorry that your room smelled of smoke this is an every day battle that we are trying to fix. We even have a smoking floor and we are still having problems. I will get with my housekeeping staff to see what we can come up with. I'll have my maintenance take a look at that ac and again get with housekeeping and have them turn units on so we can fix any issues before guest arrival. Sorry about the emails but we have not been a rodeway for long so there stil is some issues with the system But we are the same place and should have been the same address I will look into that and even get with choice to see how to fix this issue

paid for the room on line when I got there they were out of the room I paid for so they gave me a room with a discount but when they gave me the new room, opened the door and someone was in the room asleep, but finally got a room, bed was terrible not very clean will not stay here again., but the lady at the desk was awesome her name was Amy

We are in the process of switching names. At the point of your check in we were still an Econolodge. Just had a different sign due to the switch that is part of the process of switching you needed the new signage. If you didn't want to stay with us we would have gladly canceled your reservation and refunded you any money that you paid. Very sorry for the confusion.
