Good value for a Spa hotel

Posted Mar 14, 2018
Hotel is well located by a beautiful lake away from busy typical tourist area but not too far from Valcartier vacation village and pretty close to Stoneham ski resort. Good value for spa hotel but lobby restaurant while being very cozy does not offer the same value as the rest of hotel as the menu is a bit pricey for level of gastronomy offered. Breakfast buffet is excellent though. Rooms are very clean but bed linens are not very luxurious to say the least. Overall experience was great. Would go back.

The hotel in general very good, the restaurant, pool, spa equally very good, the only thing that the day I had to leave the room my son of a year and a half fell asleep at 11h30 and I had to wake up because they forced me to give the room at 12 o'clock, I asked the receptionist to give me an extra hour and I pay and refused. The rest very good everything. Thanks

Very good value hotel......clean....well upkept.

Posted Feb 26, 2018
Pros: Pool and hotub........would like to visit in the summertime.
Cons: an elevator
Location: Close to other lakes and also to Quebec city where activities and restaurants are endless.
It would have been a plus to have some type of coffee shop open during the day for the guests. Also for a hotel with nearly 100 rooms available for rent.......it makes for alot of walking corridoors and stairs..(3 flights) loaded down with luggage. An elevator would be most appreciated. The rooms seemed to be adapted for people with reduced mobility .....even rooms on 3rd floor....just not sure how someone would get to them. Overall, good experience.

Great spa and good restaurant.

Posted Jan 10, 2018
Pros: The spa section was great.
Cons: We could hear doors banging and people making noise but I guess you can't change that.
Location: Just stayed for a night so we didnt't go nearby.
I love swimming and water, there was an indor sauna, spa and pool. There was 3 outdoor spas and a cold pool plus a broken sauna. It was like paying for a spa but you pay only for your room. The food at the restaurant was great but if you don't like fancy food you better go somewhere less expensive. The prices were not overboard, but expensive for a student. Nice place in general, would love to go there in summer time.

Quaint resort escape from Quebec City

Posted Nov 19, 2017 on Hotels
This seemed like an escape-from-the-big-city type of resort from the 1950s or 60s. It was comfortable but dated, and the rooms we stayed in were not worth the money paid (in my opinion). It is a beautiful location, and we enjoyed the miniature golf and the game room downstairs, yet were disappointed that the bikes and kayaks had already been put away for the season. We did not eat at the very pricey restaurant, and instead went into a nearby town to eat dinner and breakfast.

Disappointing stay at Manoir du Lac Delage

Posted Oct 25, 2017 on Hotels
We 'upgraded' and paid extra for a "lake view" room at early check-in since the room we had reserved online was not yet available. The view from the window was of a courtyard (where people went to smoke during their conference breaks), and only from the balcony could a smidgen of the lake be seen. The resort has a restaurant on-site, yet the room only had plastic and styrofoam cups. The TV was in a cupboard and could only be seen from the bed; it could not be turned toward the chair. The season for using the bicycles and kayaks was over. We did enjoy the miniature golf, the pool table, and the hot tubs. The site is beautiful, and we appreciated the nature of the area. In its prime, the resort was probably a wonderful place to vacation; it feels tired now and is not worth the price asked, at least in my opinion. We ate dinner and breakfast in Stoneham, and both places were more affordable and offered more variety than the restaurant on-site.

Beautiful and romantic place to rest

Posted Sep 10, 2017
Pros: The view of the lake, The mountain. The swimming pools The landscape. The spas. The bedroom.
Cons: Music at the restaurant. It's terrible. MUSAC. Like you can hear in an elevator...
I love everything at the Manoir du Lac Delage. Me and my husband come many times a year, Ye enjoy the three Jaccuzi outside and the cold one. There is also a sauna. The view on the lake is spectacular. We can walk on the mountain near. The only thing I would change is the main restaurant. The food is good but the lighting is too high. Music is more musac and it would be, in such a beautiful location, a good idea to have more enjoyable music like Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin, Peggy Lee. A style of music that would be nice to hear in such a nice place.
