Location: golf resort within driveable distance of beaches and vineyards
relaxing - spa facility - very friendly staff - quiet.

Felaxing stay

a good place to stay nice room and balcony. Beautiful swimming pool. The restaurant has a limited menus in late September so if staying for a week you would have to eat out or double up. The food itself is fine and breakfast is fine.

Good rooms and location, shame about staff.

Rooms comfortable and clean and we had an adjoining room with the children at a very reasonable rate. Pool was pleasant though the surround was not swept in the morning and glasses/cans were still there from the night before. The staff however were unhelpful and spoke little English. Don't have a problem with that but they could at least make an effort to understand my attempts at French instead of being disinterested. Restaurant looked OK but was expensive and breakfast is not included in room rate. Also despite the Expedia rate being inclusive of all taxes they still wanted the city tax on top. The hotel is in the middle of a golf course in a pine forest and was very quiet and peaceful.

Relaxing oasis in bustling ocean resort

Four days to enjoy the ocean, lakes and pine forests the Lacanau region is famous for. Chose the hotel because it was away from the crowded beach or lake fronts, not for golf (!). Very happy I did, because though everything was easy driving distance, it was the August 15 week-end (a french holiday and Lacanau annual surf competition) a very busy summer period with bustling crowds. It was very nice to retreat to a quiet place with forest/golf surroundings at the end of the day. Comfortable and quiet room, friendly and pleasant staff, nice buffet breakfast on a large terrace overlooking the golf course. Enjoyed the stay very much.

Nice hotel, relaxed atmosphere

Pros: Pool, brrakfast, relaxed
Location: Lacanau seemed like a busy wee town, great beaches and forests nearby
Really enjoyed using teh pool, view from balcony actoss gold course, good food, great breakfast selection, had 2 large adjoining rooms, for family. Great setting too, cycling tracks everywhere through pine dorest.

nice hotel in a golf resort waits to be renewed

Location: golf course a lot of bike trails
good location, food choice in the restaurant is limited ,swimming pool and sauna need a reshuffle

Super séjour

Hotel un peu "caché" mais une fois qu'on l'a trouvé... cela vaut le coup :) Personnel très accueillant et à vos petits soins ... les serveurs/serveuses du restaurant sont toujours souriant(e)s ! Les locaux sont bien entretenus, la chambre est propre et spacieuse. Seule la sdb est un peu petite mais étant seule cela ne m'a pas dérangé ! Au niveau du restaurant : plats sans prétention mais qui sont fameux! La cuisson des viandes et des poissons est PAR-FAITE! Vraiment un très bon séjour. Rapport qualité /prix au top...!

séjour une nuit mauvaise expérience

déçue par le niveau de l’hôtel. Accueil impersonnel et froid. Des travaux de rénovation sont à prévoir, moquette usée et pas très propre au sol.Chambre au niveau -1 sans ascenseur. Forte odeur d humidité et de renfermé dans ma chambre à mon arrivée en début d’après midi. Malgré ma demande, la chambre a été juste aérée porte sur couloir, et sur terrasse, plus désodorisant en grande quantité...ma valise a donc due être mise à l'accueil en attente, et je n'ai pas pu occuper ma chambre et aucune proposition de changement de chambre, malgré mon allergie à l'humidité! A mon retour vers 18h l'odeur était toujours présente, mais moins forte, mais s 'est aggravée dans la nuit! Le mobilier est ancien , les bois abîmés, la salle de bain est ancienne et avec des matériaux bas de gamme...vraiment pas d'un niveau d'un 3* et même d'un 2* Peut être que le le prix obtenu par exépidia....de 135€ tout de même.... a fait que l'on m a donné une chambre au N-1 expo plein Nord, humide, vieillotte...les 2 chaises blanches en plastique de la terrasse étaient sales et donc non utilisables! Le lit était correct par contre...c'est bien la seule chose, et pourtant je voyage beaucoup, et loge souvent dans des 2* très corrects et agréables. Mon séjour a donc été décevant et non agréable.
