Shameful Mgmt doesn't help otherwise good hotel
Posted Nov 5, 2016 on Hotels
One hour after arrival, I decided to take a nap. Woke up itching and realized I had been bitten. I raised the sheets and discovered a dead bed bug (10/14/2016). Room 316. I tore a sheet from the notepad to collect it from the sheet and to share with the hotel staff.
My room was immediately changed to room 321. I did not experience any discomfort in the new room except I had difficulty sleeping as the psychological damage had been done.
I tried to speak with the manager but she was unavailable both at the time and later, during checkout. My attempts to contact her via telephone have also been unsuccessful and she has not returned my call.
Had I not endured any time in Room 316 or had received some reassuring feedback from Management, i believe my experience would have been mostly positive.

I'm truly sorry about your experience at our hotel. I can't speak for the manager or the front desk supervisor, but your call and comments should have been taken seriously and returned and discussed (that's only good business). Again, my apologies. The incident with the dead "bug" is an isolated incident and does not happen often at all.
