Not worth the cost!Posted Oct 16, 2017
There is no staff onsite, checkin is about two miles away. Very noisy! Just go elsewhere for a good overnight stay. Not a family friendly environment.

Avoid!! What a dumpPosted Aug 23, 2017
We never even stayed. Looked at it to check in and would not stay there. It was nothing like the pictures online. It was dirty and scuzzy. Just plain awful. I am out over $300!! Had to book another room somewhere else. Will never book through Expedia again unless I get a refund for this dump!

The Lakeside Getaway is an older apartment style building next to Weirs Beach. It is accurately presented online. You never checked in, never saw the unit. You arrived at our office with 7 adults, for a room that accommodates a maximum of 4 people. We offered you to either upgrade to a larger unit or to book a 2nd room and sent you over to Lakeside to meet our housekeepers who were over there preparing the room. You left our office, telling us that you were going over there, but never did. You held up the room that you had reserved and kept us wondering throughout the afternoon for other possibilities never giving us the opportunity to try to satisfy you. It was you who chose to book elsewhere without checking out what we truly had to offer.

Check for Bugs and this place should be condemned!Posted Oct 17, 2016
Pros: The person at the counter was very polite and friendly, once we found him. The lobby check in was a 5-10 minute drive away from the hotel.
Cons: Everything else.
Location: The only thing open (October in NH) was a pub with Mexican Food. It was ok, but busy for being the only thing open within walking distance.
The only way people will stay there if people have not seen the place, even from the outside. The place was disgusting and my wife spent the first 30 min checking for bugs in the beds and couches. The building is terribly uneven (every floor), walking through the room was tricky do to the floor moving. If you are above 5 ft 11in, don't stay here, ceilings are really short.

DISAPPOINTED WITH ACCOMODATIONSPosted Aug 17, 2013
Pros: SIZE WAS GOOD, KITCHEN WAS FINE, BUT NOT MUCH ELSE!!!
Cons: OUTSIDE MAINTENANCE, CLEANING, PAINTING..... GARGABE BARRELS ARE RIGHT ON THE PORCHES.
HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE BED; NOT LEVEL, HEAD LOWER THAN FEET, HAD TO SLEEP BACKWARDS IN THE BED. BE.DDING AND TOWELS WERE OLD AND, AND NOT ACCEPTABLE. OUTSIDE OF BUILDING WAS VERY OLD AND NOT KEPT UP AT ALL; MAINTENANCE LACKING. I DO A LOT OF TRAVELING UP AND DOWN THE COAST AND THERE ARE MANY OLD PLACES, BUT THEY ARE KEPT UP AND THE BEDDING AND TOWELS ARE AT AN ACCEPTABLE LEVEL; THESE WERE NOT, AND THIS PLACE WAS NOT!!!
