Not Bad, but Not Worth the Price
Posted Oct 3, 2016 on Hotels
My wife and I stayed only one night for a day in Charleston. It was the best place we could find at the last minute. We liked: The staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was actually very good. The room was very clean overall and appeared to have been updated recently. We did not like: The room with the toilet and shower was extremely small. There was no "Do Not Disturb" sign or laundry bag. I had to use the "night window" at check-in and it wasn't even 10pm yet when I checked in. It made me feel like it wasn't a safe area. The vending machines, ice machine, AND washer/dryer were in the car port of the motel (I had never seen that in my 51 years life, lol). Overall, not a bad place, but it absolutely was not worth $90/per night. A horrible value. It should be no more than about $65-$70/per night tops. Wouldn't recommend it and will never stay here again.
