Gutes und günstiges Motel, aber schlaflose Nächte!Posted Jul 18, 2015

Not worth the money.Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The towels could be of better quality and in room housekeeping could be improved. Offer complimentary coffee later in the day.
Location: The location is convenient to the interstate and close to Charleston.
I booked this hotel for the 4th of July weekend. We booked the days in two days before our stay. This hotel was the only available option based on the location and its proximity to the event we were attending. We typically stay at Hampton Inn or Courtyard by Marriott. Check in was uneventful and what you would expect. The staff was efficient and polite. The exterior of the hotel had a run down type of feel. The parking lot was clean and well maintained. The room was adequately furnished with serviceable and clean amenities. The Television was bolted to the wall with only a limited field of view. At check in the cable service was out. The room had a musty wet smell, which was exacerbated by a stronger smell when the heat was turned on to try to dry the room. Breakfast on our first morning was not appealing and the hours of operation were too short. Breakfast stopped serving promptly at 9:30 with nothing available after. I typically see coffee served later in the day.

We had a very nice time at Days Inn. I would stay there again if I ever traveled to the area.

Hotel neu renoviert, deutlich besser als erwartetPosted Jul 3, 2015
Location: In direkter Nähe ausreichend Restaurants in Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Comfortable accommodationsPosted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Convenient and affordable but also comfortable.
Cons: Freshner to take away smell. Staff tidying up the breakfast area when there were no guests trying to get breakfast.
Location: Historic places
We wanted an affordable place close to Charleston and this place was perfect. Comfortable room and hot shower. Staff friendly and professional. Newly renovated but still had that stale, old smell. Breakfast was ok. But would have been better if they offered some fruit other than just apples. One lady who was tidying up the breakfast area was in the way of guests who were trying to get their breakfast. Could have done this when there weren't guests there.

Meeting My NeedsPosted Jun 6, 2015
Pros: Clean rooms. I have always liked staying at this hotel. The pricing is always difficult and matched to the community.
Cons: Some additional customer service training.
This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel in the last year. It is clean and close to downtown Summerville and other shopping and event areas. The staff needs to learn how to smile and be a little bit quicker but overall they attention to the customer was OK. One thing that is very important; "Just saying hello or good morning without feeling is never good." There must be intent and sincerity in the delivery. This is a common practice in a lot of businesses but it really means nothing without some level of sincerity in the delivery. Otherwise it is nothing more than words.
