I checked in last night from Seattle WA. We needed a place to rest for a few hours and take a shower. The room was clean however when I went to take a shower there was no water pressure to shower. The faucet was barely dripping. When I went to check out the person and the desk said they’ve had multiple complaints and the owner would be getting back to the people who had complaints. We paid $150 for this room and I’m very disappointed that I did not receive the service that we paid for. The manager has not reached out either. Do not stay here. They may or may not have running water.

Reception, front desk and others seem like they want to help you and when you ask, you get what you want, or at least what you asked for. No games where they give you something not what you asked for but that might appear like what you wanted. The group there are easy to interact with, calming, and they don't try to cause you harm or distress.

Greeters for check in and check out were nice, however the double bed room I had had a very unpleasant smell so did the pillows and sheets. They need to upgrade better housekeeping, toilets refrigerators it smelled mildewed throughout the entire room. I also purchased a swim band for $10, however I didn’t swim they refused me a refund. I feel that they could have accommodated me being the room was already not up to par that’s the least they could have done. Customer service and courtesy comes first before greed of money. All that money I know they’ve accumulated needs to go back into the hotel to expand the comfortability of visitors.

Like it was quiet and private. The smell is horrible. The metal bed base need to be cleaned. Whomever cleaned the room before I came clean with a funky mop and bleach. I cleaned the tub and toilet myself. The room holds moisture

The room was kind of upgraded. The bed was not real comfortable. The tin bed every time you rolled over you thought someone was dumper diving outside. There were several homeless people in the area. Questionable area

The hotel has some serious problems. Where to begin? The doors to the rooms have a large open space at the bottom - around 2" - like they cut the doors too short. The net result is that anything and everything smaller than 2" can and does enter the room - light, sound, critters... The walls are paper thin & you can literally hear every conversation up to 5 rooms away. The beds sit on large metal boxes. I don't know who thought that was a good idea. The beds let out a loud metal CLANG every. move. you. make. During the week, the hotel is used for, shall we say, very temporary arrangements. Thin walls loud beds "interesting" guests = you can figure this one out. Those interesting guests also have conversations in the hallway seemingly endlessly throughout the night. You can hear every word, like they are standing right next to you. At 3am. (on the weekend it seemed like more touristy guests arrived and things quieted down significantly) If you were holding out hope for better ceilings, I'm sorry to burst your bubble. It sounds like your upstairs neighbors have lead weights on their feet as they stomp around. The hotel seemed clean enough when we arrived, but those dreams got dashed too when night fell and the roaches came out to play. Small brown ones. That climb walls. I had nightmares throughout my stay of them crawling all over me while I slept. The room seemed decent enough at first. But no. The door lock was broken & the tub leaked badly, among other things.

No frills, but exactly what you need!
We booked a one-night stay to attend the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival. The Baymont is exactly what it calls itself...a "no frills" hotel. BUT, that doesn't mean it's run down. To the contrary, the lobby and at least our room were immaculately clean and cozy. The room included a fridge and microwave, the latter which are becoming rare in many hotels. The room was also comfortable, including an old-school floor unit A/C which worked perfectly. Our only negative was that it's time to change the top mattress in that room. It creaked and groaned every time we moved, but was still comfortable so we forgave that. Making Baymont our go-to hotel anytime we need to stay in Lafayette!

I stayed for five nights at the Baymont to attend the Festival Internationale de Louisiane. The location was good and the hotel itself was comfortable. I had an issue with the faucets and poor drainage in the shower, but overall the stay was fine and reasonably priced.

Several large cockroaches. The floor was so dirty when I stepped into shower it looked like I walked in mud. Rust covered most fixtures,the noise was unbelievable,walls paper thin. Homeless encampment in part of parking lot and directly adjacent,the room was partially cleaned,junk in drawers,food particles present when entering room on TV stand top. But ,it is cheap.get what you pay for

The hotel itself was clean, and the staff was nice. Area around the hotel was marginal. Abandoned buildings. When the Waffle House is closed you know the neighborhood is suspect. Price seemed high all things considered. Nice staff, though.

The guy at the front desk was soooo nice. The hotel is decent for the price. It was clean, which is my main concern. The bed was really hard, and the sheets were dingy, and def need to be replaced. The area is kinda sketchy, but we were only there to sleep. If you looking for a place just to sleep, I think it’s fine. If you looking for a place you going to spend a lot of time at, I would look for something else.

Advertising on google is incorrect it’s not near the airport it’s 40mins from the airport the area is not a good area BUT the renovation of the hotel is very nice and clean it’s just the location of the hotel is in a run down area

Not bad at all
3 /17/23. The hotel was better than I expected for the price we payed. They have done a lot of renovations and brought it up-to-date with a new paint job through and through. Carpet in hallways was clean. Rooms were tiled floor. bed was comfortable. My only complaint was that the walls were thin and we could hear the noise of the tv from the room next door all night long. I would stay here again however, I would ask to be put in a room far away if possible from other guests.
